You shouldn't compare it to an s3 on stand-by, and then say that the s3 is better.

Yes,severe battery issues here.
2g talk time on this phone is not even half of gs3 (which has 21+ hours 2g full talk time).

i thnk other ppl mean that lg is late or nevr give an update is there OS version.,.Like froyo to gb..Or gb to ics..Or ics to jb...They do n0t c0nsdr an update a minor update...

AnonD-71868, 16 Oct 2012You should have requested through the warranty for the phon... moreso that is not your experience?I.m glad to hear this is not normal I will take it too the store and have it fixed Yesterday I it run flat of battery after 12 hours of standby and only 10min of phonecalls and i have no running programs and only mail is syncing once every hour and I turned of wifi

Why Samsung is that well sold? For these updates? In case you didn't know, they leave many bugs on the phones they launch only to have what updates to show to their clients later on. This is laughable. Why would you make a phone with bugs only to make your clients think that this brand gets numerous updates? OMG, and they say LG is bad...

sell your 4x if you got lots of problem . . . that is the best solution!!! go get the s3 or 1x or ip5 . . . theres a lot of smart phones out there! damn it! if you dont like the 4x then sell it and just let it be!

Why I should blame my ... moreyou once more completely dismiss the fact that LG just before the release of the 4x hd had reorginized its phone department and old phones are not a viable comparison to new phones.
there is only 1 issue for me with the 4x HD and thats the fact that i cant install stuff on my real sd card.
this however is more the foult of android and google then it is of lg and the s3 has the same problem.
other then that there is NO problem with the 4x hd no heating no battery duration no camera issues none of it.
as heating is normal and you cant expect a 2mm big sensor to capture perfect photo's EVER.
this is a limitation of sensors. and the current technology.
also you again gave no real example of issues with this phone so i hereby declare you troll and samsung fanboy.
ps. the samsung jet s8000 is shite shouldnt you consider a sony or something after all samsung made a crappy phone also.

All brands including samsung, htc, apple and the others have phones with issues, but they are the ones who were produced immediately after the launch and thus they aren't too good, the companies had too much orders and they had to honor the orders, but after several months, they will release very good phones.

And s3 so low in votes but high in daily interest 87%
Is s3 a bad phone but everyone loves him?
And 4x a good phone but who cares?

Because of I bought one of their cheap products?
LG doesn't support its phones, this is a fact Accept it!
I'll tell you why I did that.
When I saw LG viewty I tought it was a good phone, it was actually good phone but there were too many problems.
Mostly camera and playing music, so I sold out.
Optimus White was also great phone but Camera and sound quality...
You know why all these problems are software releated and LG does not want to do something.
They just saying,
"We make new ones, buy new ones"
This is the solution.
I like my Optimus 4X, it is a monster but also has too much problems.
When you use Galaxy S3 you just ask yourself this:
Why my phone not like that...
Then answer is software my friend.
Dont take my answers offensive, they are not.
You don't need to be aggressive.
