why so big daily interest about LG phones suddenly? I mean - when Optimus G first reviews appeared (2-3weeks ago) it was not even in top 10, though everyone saw that those specs and benches make iphone 5 and GalaxyS3 look 2years old. and this P880 is old. is there any major price cuts or something (to ignite this sudden interest)?

I'm in ph city. I've checked gallus miller an... morewel i can tell you that the LG had more firmware releases since the release then the samsung had and less isseus remain on the lg then there are on the S3.
main issue i feel with the S3 is how slow the ui feels which is a easy fixable issue in android supersuter mode if samsung had put in the tools which they didnt.
so for now the sliding of screens is just way smoother in the lg as samsung fails to see it as a problem.
people need to get over the 2x speed yes the phone was bad at release and there is no 4.0 yet and i bet there never will be but even tho its frustrating for owners of the 2x speed its undertsandable LG moved away from that phone completely.
and lets stay honest samsung did the same with the samsung jet and a few other models before they finaly got beyond making utterly crap phones.
i havethe jet here and even tho its advertised as smaretr then smart is stupid as hell it has front camera yet the feature for face to face calling isnt even in the software and there are no downloadable apps...
the software tends to crash if you use more then 1 widget and worst of all this hardware is fast enough for android 2.3 yet they only put there own touchwiz on it and there support for the phone has always bin non excistant because they know they screwed over the 18 million people that bought it so they never looked back at the phone.
people already forgot that tho but they keep whining about the optimus which with the latest firmware is fully working without issues ou cant say that about many of the samsung phones with touchwiz 1/2.

I'm in ph city. I've checked gallus miller and mightytechs in aba road but none of the mobile giants seemed to identify the phone muchless the availablity period instead they re still advertising 3dmax/L7 as(arriving soon)latest. which city can i find it in nigeria?
I'm more concerned about the software support from lg as it varies country by country. I mean, i don't need an unlocked uk version of it when there is going to be no support for my country/region.

just made an estimate. I've seen so many prices online and it ranges from $460-$480.
Someone will easily be moved to consider s3 as a better choice with the said price, afterall it's just #5,000 difference and the overall experience of the s3 is undeniably better, plus samsung hasty support.
Looks like i'll order it from my friend in computer village in lagos.

Iv been using this phone since 2 weeks , its the best mobile phone ever ....
Best graphic games, super fast in surfing the net

mat, 04 Oct 2012pino, so do u mean that u are also hear that crap sound whe... moreif you hear it in every tipe of music even low bass music andalso when not on max vollume you might have one with a broken speaker orthere is a problem in your firmware or you use a app that modifies then sound output.
if non of these are the case and you tried a reset/latest firmware (v10f) them id consider returing it and try a new one on the spot or de demo model if they have one.

pino, so do u mean that u are also hear that crap sound when playing some sort of songs while in loudspeaker too ? For me, i'm hear like a scattering sand which doesn't make the audio not clear enough..

I don't hate any mobilephone company xcept(*i*)and that's simply because of the walled ecosystem!
If anybody wants to obtain sgs3 i think it's up to them as they're the ones to make the most out of it not me. But instigate others to hate other company's phones, Really it seems a bit silly to me. why people abandon their businesses to dictate for others on the internet what phones to buy.
Lg is improving and that fact, i like. Bring it to nigeria. . .
