once i updated my lg... moreyou forgot to research the JB rom.
4.03 v10H is still the best rom ever made for any device i used.
Never crashes never lags light on memory so better multitasking smooth ui even with only 2 cores at 650 mhz for a year now.
google some stuff before you install the latest roms.
Newer is NEVER better untill you researched it.
google xda lg 4x hd rollback to 4.0
you should be able find how you can go back to 4.03 :)

hi everyone. i have damn f... problem
once i updated my lg to jb version.. my whole phone become more worse.. like my whole system lagg ing in exagerate way.. especially my camera... when press it need to wait 10 second toeed to ew function .... like other function also at least need to wait 5 second...
damn.. what the heck is going on....

LG wont update lg p880. You can instal cyanogenmod 10.2 with 4.3.1

If you want best IQ on a phone buy a new sony phone they have by far the best camera sensors in phones now.
If you want even better quality buy a point and shoot camera for 100 bucks and they will be 4 times better then ANY phone out there.

AnonD-220264, 01 Jan 2014its the worst mobile i ever used, i've had a lot of phones ... moreif it lags and gets stuck its either broken or you have crap software on it do a factory reset and try again or return it as it does not lag infact its the smoothest phone ever.
it does not even lag on 2 cores disables and 2 cores on half power.
so if it lags its not the phones or siftware fault.
so factory reset o return for a repair/replacement.

its the worst mobile i ever used, i've had a lot of phones with much less specs and they run ICS and Jelly been and they perform better than this. most of the time it lags a too much, and stuck for secs. even i don't install much apps maybe around 10 only but still perfor, veru bad...

Its still by far the best phone in its price catagory and every phone that is better costs atleast 40% more.
So saying suffer this phone doesnt really do it justice as iys still unbeaten for its price.
hat some people are obessed with having the latest android is there problem as its not even the better version of android.
I dig the LG G2 myself now but at more then twice the price its nog really in the same league now is it.

I accept that alot of people do like it, and it does have some nice features, and alot cheaper than some of its competitors but still overall Im disappointed with it and I really can't wait to get a phablet, probably sometime towards the end of 2014 so I will have to suffer with this phone for another year.

if you dont mind your phone getting fat then a 4800 would give insane battery life.

I hate to compare it but the Samsung s2 came out before and Samsung have / are still updating (don't know how well it runs but it's at least still getting updates)
I feel LG forget that people on contract usually have a two year contract but they only give it a 12 month guarantee, and appear to only support it for less than 12 months from original release date. Shame as this could have been a great phone and still run latest version of android

I updated two of these phones to Android 4.1.2 but it caused more problems than any gains.
Unless your absolutely sure that an update to another Android firmware will benefit you I would say dont as once done I dont think it can be downgraded to android 4.0.3.
LG does not seem likely to be offering any updates for this phone which is a shame as with bug free updates the phone could be really good and it does have quad core so should be able to take Android 4.3 possibly kitkat.

I have been using this with cm ROM stable 10.1.3 (android 4.2) and it's been stable and smooth. If lg did something similar they would sell more phones but their version of android is not pleasing to the eye. The display is great. Consistently gives 300 mb of free RAM with cm

however this is a extended battery and prevents the use of a normal cover/housing.
