curious pal, 04 Sep 2012freak4u, do u use protection case ? And, do u already root,... morecustom roms are not availeble yet as the bootloader is still locked therefore its simply not possible.
you can still use custom loaders and themes which completely changes android tho.
pritective covers and screen protectors are always adviced really its a expencive device so why not protect it for 10 euro's.
check ebay for some covers and donrt forget to check woth worldwide box so you see the dirt cheap chinese products which are just sweet.

MAHA, 03 Sep 2012Not support native video call...... Audio not sufficient..... moreandroid is based arround installing apps before you scream dont buy look in the store and teres tonns of video call apps that work just fine some are even over the internet so free of charge.

i bought it a week ago.. it is amazing phone with crystal clear hd video quality.. it is really a quad core beast... i am so happy with this phone.

the battercharts ive seen on XDA show atleast a full day of average use and the serious hardcore users will always need a recharge halfway trough the day.
if you game or watch movies the battery will drain fast as the tegra is ultrafast but also a massive drain but the same goes for every other quad core out there.
there are however way to fix this for movied mor example you can easely downclock to 1000 mhz and turn 2 cores off.
theres apps for this on XDA and google play.
some dont even require root.
for some games you can also easely turn 2 cores off and it will play smooth no problem.
this is a process you need ti fund out and once you know you can decde to set the minimum speed you need for your higherst cpu usage app (say 2 cores @ 1200 mhz) and leave it at that or decide to go to 1 core @1500 mhz standard and turn it up manualy when you need more juice (movie and games)
but it surely is verry capable downclocked.

lg rocks, 01 Sep 2012I am owner of this phone & ask me any quesion about it ... more2 things i wanna know bout, battery and processor, how long has the battery last on general use by which i mean, texting, calls, using internet for Google search/fb and does the processor cope, or do you find yourself a little frustrated sometimes?! Btw be honest, i don't want no fanboy answer!!lol.

4x hd has tegra 3
... moredont forget that the optimus G will cost a LOT more and at release will be atleast 25% more expencive then the 4x hd is now.
ofcourse it has a faster cpu but if your a gamer hen the tegra 3 is still better for you as it simple has better gaming features.
in the end you really wont ever notice the speed difference because both these phones are atleast 2 times to fast for every single app out there on the market today.
the main difference is 4G support in the krait corei believe which is in many countrys a non issue as 4G is barely availeble outside the us and even i the us its rareish.

this is one of the sites where you can download the firmwares.
in theory you can just instal the latest firmwares from another reagon but they might miss some proper translations for your lang.
for more information about manualy upgrading firmware you have to go to the XDA forums as they ahve WAY more experience there then i do.

but you could always download the right version and install it to your phone manualy.
however from what ive seen v10c should be avoided and v10f is the latest and best with increased preformance and a new feature for the camra and the latest patches from google and some heat fixes.
