The heat is due to the four cores A9 working at the same time to keep the game going smoothly.

the way u thank (sarcasm) LG for something LG doesnt have (LED notification) and compare it to another brands for something they have, geez it's "brainless" of u man. while @ it, u can also thank HTC for not having removable battery & for not supporting external memory card, which on the other hand LG proudly own those.

Jayasudhan, 04 Jul 2012Your frequency response database given by the all phone rev... moreWith headphones was very good to me. Not that awesome as my sony walkman, but neither my old htc was awesome. Compared to my samsung s2, i prefer the headphones experience on the 4X.
Without head phones though i would say it could be better, so i would say is somewhere in between average and poor. But definitely listenable.

this is the perfect phone !try to play a game like angry birds for like 15 minutes and let us know if it heats up or not...
My 4X over heats while playing games to the extend i cant hold it anymore in my hands.. even the upper screen over heats...

A Flagship model without GLONASS...
Even HTC have better camera Modules now...
Embarrassing to claim this as flagship LG
without LED notification light, so have to switch it
on every 10 minutes check for messages.

guys, FYI regarding the "breathing auto-focus" problem on LG Optimus 4X:

i did an experiment for the battery standby of my lg 4x hd!
it only got drain after 48-hours!
very impressive battery !

I was impressed with the macro in the LG optimus 4x, and also the video recording, was very good aside the problem with the focus.
I would choose the one that you like more as inside they are both very good.
If you want to go for the 4x, I would wait until they fix the issue with the focus while shooting video.
Otherwise you might be dissapointed.
I am sure there is an update coming soon to fix that.

i hear lg update politics are even worse than samsung's, and already problems occur with lg like autofocus during video and bad audio output. you think is lg worth a risk
