LG said that it will upgrade every device which will be able to run Jelly Bean. So I think its upgradable to JB

TMach, 29 Jun 2012This is an objective view of the LG Optimus 4X HD. Acquired... moreLG Optimus 4X & Samsung Galaxy S3 come very close as a competitor. and they really "leave HTC ONE X behind", in term of quadcore phone war.
IMHO, if to choose, it's either full features Samsung Galaxy S III OR full speed & "GREAT" battery life LG OPTIMUS 4X.
HTC ONE X has its own market, but no where near LG & Samsung to compete with.

Apo, 28 Jun 2012It is in the interests for us users to be informed about ev... moreThis is an objective view of the LG Optimus 4X HD. Acquired from Amazon.de 2 weeks ago. A very good phone indeed but better than One X or S3? Absolutely not. I own all three with the LG being the newest the customisation of the one x (Sense 4.0) gives it the edge as they are pretty much the same, same processor, Super LCD2 IPS Screen, pretty identical PPI etc. Not a big fan of the S3 but I can't fault the performance which is great. My preferred handset of all three is One X, the flaws in terms of non replaceable battery, non expandable are not a material issue for me as 32gb and 1.5 day battery life does me just fine. The LG falls down on the minor details, no notification light, no notification to let you know the battery is full when charging, you can only ascertain charge levels if the phone is on when being charged. Probably going to sell mine tomorrow as it adds nothing to the game over and above (or even as a match) the One X or SGS3.
It is up to you to make up your own mind, it is a great phone but as I say, there is no earthly reason to choose this over the One X/SGS3! Whatever your choice, ultimately, it is about personal preference.

I got my new 4x, yesterday.
Here are my first impressions.
1- battery performance is very good, left in standby for about 5 hours with all applications and the battery logo was still full.
Today now about one hour and a half browsing internet a few calls, settings and i did some benchmarks trhough internet and pictures with the camera, after all the battery level is on 84%
Having said that i am planning to leave it with the sim card and apps closed for the rest of the day, hopefully it will be over 80%

It is in the interests for us users to be informed about every new device, the optimus p880 can be already aquired but still i see no hands-on video no testing against the One X.I know the One X and the galaxy s 3 stole the show but i am wondering how good it is compared to the other too.Still good job to the team from GSMarena on all the other phones.

When will this be available in the India,plz release d ph asap,nd trust me it will never let you lg..!!you will get a huge response.
