Here is a summary of what is coming...
If this tip turns to be in some way true, LG Optimus 4X smartphone at its 8mm thin will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, boasts a 5.3 OLED HD touchscreen (an outrages 2650×1900 pixel resolution i would say), powered by a 2.2GHz processor, Mali T-604 GPU, 2.5 MB of RAM, 64GB of ROM (built-in memory storage), 4G LTE technology (up to 75Mbps), microSD card slot up to 32GB and a 3200mAh battery.
LG Optimus 4X also could sport an 18MP camera on the back, NFC-enabled, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and more. The whole list of specs looks out of this world for an Android device but in a world where the first Android tablet runs a Quad-core CPU since 2011. Who knows what 2012 has in stored for us. Anyways take it with a pinch of salt until get any kind of confirmation.

There is a rumour about a new 5.3 inches HD amoled LG coming soon with 2.5Gb ram and onboard memory 64Gb. That's a real beast.

I'm so worry about the resal... moreYeah the downside is that the s3 simply looks horrible, also pentile screen, asymmetric physical button and microsim card, and slightly bigger than the 4x. If that is not enough also unavailable in black. About 100 Euros more expensive with the same memory on board of the 4x 16Gb.
I have asked many people about the way it looks, and it seems to me that only girls fancy this old looking kind of Nokia's 90's design. Still also not LTE supported (4G) in the European model.
The downside of the one x, is no battery removable, poor battery life at only 1800mAh, and no sd card slot.
LG mobiles will increase their resale value as from one week ago they double the efforts on their mobile division by leaving behind the tablets and focus on mobiles, expect an increase on lg phones in the market in the coming months, and that will come with more sound support to their top end models, they have learnt from their mistakes and the proof is the 4x and the lg vu, also coming soon a 5 inches full HD screen 1080p only available on LG.

Most ppl buy phones from store and lg's shipping speed is like 2 countries per month . S3 was best example for superfast shipping , it was available on the date company said (well, Lg not saying anything about date) . When it will available here s3's price will already down at the same rate to lg or maybe less. That's why i was saying worldwide release like samsung not country to country . Samsung's advertising started just after 1 week of its release bt i dont think lg going to do any promotion soon.

I'm so worry about the resale value, as from my past experiences owning LG phones, they have terrible resale or trade-in value!
Samsung S3 definitely the hottest phone out of the three. it's a comfortable phone to hold in the hand, and the shape make it feels special.
I'm currently using the HTC One X, but the handsfree speaker is on the quiet side when waiting for calls to get connected. Ear piece volume also on the quiet side. I'm thinking hard of trading in my One X for the Galaxy S3, but the S3 also has it's downside!
One X IPS screen is very nice & with natural color, but Amoled screen look more attractive to my eyes, because of their deep black color.

A very good phone, got mine a week ago from Amazon.de, but not better than the One X or S3! I have all three so well placed to comment. That said and done, I do prefer it to S3. Yes, it reminds you of the S2 but that is about where the similarities end! It is defo more loveable than the S3 but not necessarily the One X which shares the same screen and processor etc.
