CJ, 21 May 2012Dude .. the 9 million pre order are from the wireless carri... more oh! i see they support samsung just because they think they can easily sell samsung galaxy s3 compare to other smartphones! they can get easily money fro the buyers , but doesn't mean sgs3 is the best smartphone ! come on!
still lg 4x is the way way better in general!

Overall, LG Optimus 4X HD P880 is almost equivalent to Samsung Galaxy SIII.
They are both the best and most powerful Android SmartPhones so far (besides HTC One X).
LG Optimus 4X HD looks better, and Galaxy SIII works better and smarter.
If you wanna taste better fashionable powerful smartphone, go buy LG Optimus 4X HD (or HTC One X), but if you wanna taste smarter-better powerful technology and excellent innovations, go buy Galaxy SIII.
In comparison with LG Optimus 4X HD, Galaxy SIII looks better for:

2. Supporting 4G (LTE)

S3 has a bad design and still no a Cortex A15 cpu.
LG O4X also without a Cortex A15. Better wait 2013 :)

LG is a cheap android phone compare to samsung and htc but the firmware support is always delay much better to buy samsung because this is always priority of android developer.

hey there he just said that lgo4xhd beats sg3's design and performance, arent you reading before reacting? i already own this phone and a friend has the sg3 compared to hands on performance lgo4xhd is a way better than SG3! design is so ugly i remembered nokia phones with that design at a glance, samsung is just more popular than lg thats why it has a lot of pre orders but if this people is educated enough about the performance of this lg superphone i dont think that they will buy it! theyre just buying it because of the branding and not minding the phones quality and performance...get it? I HOPE SAMSUNG CAN MAKE THEIR PHONE EXCEPTIONAL AND UNCOMPARABLE TO OTHER PHONES, go for LG if you like to experience over the top performance of a quadcore phone..

I think i'll go for this phone.
I waited for the galaxy 3 but i didn't liked the design. This looks much better! Just about the same specs. i hope the build quality is improved.

launching next month...this is going to be next phone. i am a happy user of optimus 2x. although it's doesn't have official ICS...but i am running a custom ICS rom on my 2x..coz the community support is superb...and i think Optimus 4x will beat the samsung s3...in terms of design and performance.

This phone is quite equivalent to Samsung S3, a little improvement in the features like Fm radio would make this phone unbeatable.. LG has gained lot of fans one among is me.
i've been using LG P970. cool phone..

Probably will ship with Froyo with endless promises to have an ICS update...eventually.
