I have both lg 2"and samsung galaxy . My galaxy can make 3g video calls whereas my LG phone can't.but i luv my lg phone more .

But if an app or game is optimized for 4 cores, a quad core Cortex A9 will be better than a dual core Cortex A15 running at the same frequency. The problem is that very few games or apps are optimized for 4 cores, so in most cases a dual core A15 (or Krait) will be indeed better than a quad core A9.

for example, Arm A15 28nm dual core will be faster and efficient than A9 40nm Quad core

I can't wait for this phone... Sony Xperia S and HTC One X have crapped Android's reputation by forcing microSIM and not having microSD card slot. I hope this phone and the Galaxy S III fix that.

easy guys.. this is just prelim specification.... just to keep the hype against one x.. s3... iphone 5... which are all quadcore phones too... speaking of the design...i love the front... but the sucks... what happen to the cool back cover of its predessor doid razzr?

this model if compared to htc one x is not much different.juz dat this have the sd slot and the losing point is this has no gorilla glass.

Well! my first question about the gorilla glass got two responses, one said yes and the other one no! Phew!! now can somebody tell me the expected price in India? checked a few websites and the range is really bizarre.....some claim it to be around 35k while others put it around 22k. What are your opinions? And yeah, people may say whatever they want about LG but they are the best in terms of technology and affordability.... Don't forget the good old p500, a benchmark for budget android smart phones within the common man's reach.....

lg optimus 4x HD WOH!
specification and processor is quite advance as expected for 2012.
but this Quad cores without gorilla glass screen protection would surely lost million customers !
battery not removeable /replaceable is also very frustrating too.

Well, if this phone..
1. Has good signal reception.
2. Comfortable to make calls (for your ear).
3. Stable OS, didn't hang often like O2X.
4. Has low SAR value.
5. Has SD Card slot.
6. Has normal battery life.
7. Cheaper than other quad core (hopefully).
... I dont mind buying one. Any additional features are just extras.
Let's wait and see..
