AnonD-64830, 28 Aug 2013All who have updated to Jellybean and who have had problems... morethe main 2 issues with JB is that some games lag a lot more or get worse preformance and the other issue is that the screen doesnt come back on when calling.
this last issue can easely be fixed by recalibrating the proximity sensor.

yaw, 28 Aug 2013My phone (optimus 4x hd) gets hot all the time with alittle... morenothing this is normal.
remember the first intel quad cores cpu's they got 90 degrees also this is normal.
the cpu itseld might get to 45/50 degrees celcius and that feels warm/hot in the hand but for the cpu thats actualy not to hot.

I have p880 just week ago,the problem is... moreif you have made no changes to the os at all by disabling services or whatever and a factorey reset doesnt solve the issue send it in for a repair or even a exchange as you only just bought it.
in some countrys they have to give you a new phone within the first 2 weeks as its a hidden failure.
if thats true in your country you have tpo check your local laws.

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2013anyone know a good,easy(and safe if possible) root guide? p... moreroot guides are all over XDA Developers forums .. you just need to spend like an hour going through the threads .. and about 30 minutes applying .. fairly easy and straight forward ..
steps i followed:
1. Unlock bootloader (follow details on XDA)
2. Root device (using a flashable ZIP file) .. I prefer this method rather than the other one with an apk to install and then it does the action . .
3. download Super SU app from the market ..
NOTE: MAKE SURE TO READ A LOT, AND TO HAVE THE CORRECT DRIVERS FOR ADB AND FASTBOOT WORKING PERFECTLY FIRST.

All who have updated to Jellybean and who have had problems can you advise what problems they have had with their phone.
Mine when texting drops the message app out of view and the same when using internet inc facebook. A friends phone goes black on the display when in calls (not the same as when its against your face as it stays black when the phone is moved away from your face).

I have p880 just week ago,the problem is... moreI think, you can restore it to factory setting... so the phone software is just like new one. Hang phenomenon in your phone can be resulted by incompatible software or something (rooted and missing registey). I have the same problem when i was update my phone from ics to jb, it was hang and laggy all over.
Battery life is decent, but i can still use it for almost 3:45 hours. Please check your battery condition maybe you have some defect in battery or battery is not calibrated yet, your 3g signal is very poor. So your battery drain quickly or you are typical of heavy multitasking user while browsing in phone.
i have used lg optimus 4x hd for almost 1 year in indonesia till now. I love this phone.

In my opinion, optimus 4x hd is better... you can up size the memory using external memory, and also you get full size 4.7 inch display without any annoying on screen soft button... this phone has good enough todays hardware and specs. Tegra 3 isnt bad at all... it still can boost up the performance resulting good and fluid interface and application runner.
In other hand, if you have considered about the hardware and processor, nexus 4 is better than 4x ( snadragon s4 vs tegra 3). Battery life is good. And most importantly, softwrae update is guaranteed by google.
If you dont care about late of sofware update and inferior processor and gpu, go for optinus 4x hd. Because you can freely remove battery, insert memory sdcard.
the choices is yours... what kind of your needed...
i have used lg optimus 4x almost 1 years till now in indonesia... i love it verymuch.. this phone is sexy enough.

Hello geys,
I have p880 just week ago,the problem is that,the battery dont last for 2hours just browsing no gaming at all,it hangs 2times so i removed the battery and reput it again
The phone is too smooth and fast i know but this battery and hang problem got me headache
Should i go to repair or there is another way to solve that
And sorry for my bad english
