will rooting and installing a stable custom rom fix the lag caused by the jelly bean update. the lag is unbearable at times. too much for a quad core beast like this. i've been using my brand new 4x for less than a week(updated to jelly bean the same night i bought it).

its pretty hard to kill a phone these days.
that doesnt meen its impossible but mostly flashing manualy again fixes it.

how can we reach LG to ask for an update to fix the bugs in the jellybean update? are they planning one? are they waiting to fix it with the 4.3 update? will they give us the 4.3 update? i think we deserve it. the phone deserves it. but they they really need to fix those bugs! my biggest problem is the obvious,too much at times,lag and the slow charging.

Has anyone updated to I presume v20b of jellybean yet? As when I plugged phone into laptop Friday night it saidbi had an update to my phone that was on 4.1.2 v20a. After over 4 hours of it keep telling me to disconnect cable remove battery and start again I gave up.problem now is phone is stuck at update screen. Phoned LG as still under warranty and they are gonna fix it and update it. Would now be very concerned to do it again.

Follow the instructions including installing the usb driver.
You can then upgrade to Jellybean.

new user , 09 Aug 2013Yes i got it but phone wont sync to update cant even find i... moreOk. Do it like this: Start the PC app... Install drivers. Now plug in your phone and wait. It took about 2 mins for my laptop to find phone. App will tell you if there is new sw version for your phone.
