Apparently, you get what you pay for. Get a good pair of high end earphone or headphone and along with a good music application, I used PlayerPro by the way, if you are picky on sound quality.

Any ideas on why i haven't received update yet i live in uk? im still on update v10h im getting bored of coming home from work plugging my phone in to pc to see it 'your using latest software gets really annoying after a while

if it doesnt score batter,use less ram (preloading is BAD), is more power efficient and has all the features that stock had (including support for all the hardware the phone has (sensors,compas,NFC,gps,a-gpsand so on) is it worth messing with roms?
most custom roms always have issues with some features not working which isnt really acceptable to me when i pay 375 euro for a phone. :)

LG released sources for our 04X, Cyanogenmod 10.1. Nightly is out! It's awesome and smooth!

pino also felt there was no need to reply on things pino explained many times before if people couldnt be bothered to search the topic :)
and pino also has bin doing a lot of testing with his phone (which is still on 4.03 and NOT rooted) and achiefed 5 days use time for the light user with wifi permanently on and 2 hours 40 in use time and managed to clear 587 mb ram :)
as for Sunny being in the US.
the phones worldwide do not all have there JB released yet.
some regions are still pending on partly pending.
no clue why this is but still about 30% of the people cant update yet.
so it depends where you imported your phones from as this isnt officialy released in the US.
so you got lucky on 1 of them and not so lucky on the other i guess.
some regions had Q1 as release for jb and some other had H1 as release date.
so it will come but it might be later.
sounds unneeded to me but i bet they have good reasons to do so even tho they will never tell us.
for the people with screen off issue try 3845#*880#) > Device Test -> All Auto Test Menu Full > ALC/ Proximity Test and calibrate it there.
you might need to reboot your device to get rid of the annoying sound.
as always im not responsible for what you do and i cannot give further support as i do not have this issue so will not try this out as my phone works fine :)
if anyone feels i forgot to adress something important that i havent already sald in the past feel free to sum it up and ill adress it when i rol out of bed tomorrow as its 3 am now so bed time :)

AnonD-3937, 16 Apr 2013Hey where is Pino? did he get a job or something :)yeah. i agree where is he? he was the only guy keeping tab on this phone! jeez i miss his comments he was thorough. i must say he alone sold LG more phones on this forum by writing than combined stores worldwide. but with seriousness, i updated one phone to JB but can't update another. what the hell is wrong with the update stuff with LG? both phones are international unlocked versions. i changed time and that did not work as some have written before. rams run around 600 free about 280.
overall stable and no crashes. i am in the US and use i must say proudly use straight talk without any issues.

I am in Thailand and just updated the phone to 4.1.2. The camera seems to work better, but everything else is so laggy. I checked the score in Quadrant and it was 4200 which is 600-700 lower than what I was getting with 4.0.3....how do you explain that LG?

I like JB so far with S. version v20b. Do miss yahoo apps until I can fix. A small irritation. In my workshop my WiFi signal is weak,but it worked.later, with a strong signal the 4x would not connect. In settings an option to temp. suspend weak WiFi was checked by default.
