Biggest change I have seen is loss of ram probably due to project buttery even when using all the cleaners I use to use when I could get 50 to 51percent free now 20 to 25 other than that a few nice tweaks but nothing that good :(

Well, I've watched videos on youtube and read the comments from the people from XDA forum about this recent jelly bean update for Optimus 4x but for me, this jelly bean update is disappoint.
Not much changes:
-No Q Slide, Still the same Lockscreen (doesn't like optimus G's), no "Ram cleaner" widget, etc
It really makes us envy if we compare it to LG L9's Jelly bean, including LG LTE 2's (Korea), and LG VU 2's. What I've known so far, these three(L9, LTE2, VU 2), got all optimus G features like I've mentioned above.
So, I think LG must update the firmware which will take a long time, AGAIN... (well, I hope not), because it's ridiculous to see this update was nothing and unfair if we compare it to the other LG products whereas they only have dual cores processors but got the new features equally.

I live in Spain and I have receive the update right now. For those who are asking it can't be done via ota, you have to plug the phone to your computer with the LG update tool. Open the program and wait until it recognise your phone. Once done that the program will tell you if there's an update for your phone. I recommend you, as LG does, to make a backup of your data before you start the process.

To turn off notifications for Quick memo and App menager on every startup: Long press notification in notification menu. Afer app opens, uncheck "Show notifications". Voila! :)

app menu sorting by alphabetical order :)
app menu wallpaper changing :)
notification bar changes :)
new fonts :)
screen swipe effect preview :)
app menager notification every time on startup :(
no improve in batt life :(
file manager added :)
conversation skins in messages :)
changed camera interface :)
new weather widget :)
no qslide :(

I got mine as sim free device. I think that it can't be updated OTA, you have to link it to PC. For now, it's bit too early to say about the changes, but I noticed that the user interface is a lot polished. Those of you who had Optimus 2x will know what I'm talking about. Everything looks smoother and better. Anyway, for everything else I'll know in day or two. Then, you'll also know. :)
