Fantastic phone.i reccomanded to buy this mobile.it is pretty good run very smooth on ics but u need one tym reset.

I just updated my lg optimus black since about 3 weeks.. it was working fine, but i felt a bit laggy, so i did soft reset,now everything is fine except wifi.. it keeps saying "obtaining IP address". any one can help?? i searched internet... but all workarounds and fixes didnt work. thanks.

I jut did the upgrade to 4.0.4 and it is fantastic! my opinion is that is working better now ! it is faster then 2.3.4
I recommend it!

Please do not upgrade to ICS ! It will drain your battery like anything, GB is far far best

i got my lg optimus black more than a year ago. i recently upgrade my froyo to ICS. it took me 5 hours to update and its worth waiting. it's just like you have a brand new phone on your hand. the best thing i love the most is the camera and video. really great.

My LG has been upgrade to ICS recently and it keep lagging...in order to run smoothly then need to do factory reset again!! Just wasting time & money to do the upgrade!!Hope LG can upgrade their software and give the best service to all LG user!!

Last week i've sent my LG through a shop dealer the only one agent of LG products in my hometown to upgrade to ICS and paid rm80 for the service!!!poor service from the unprofessional malay sales girl asked me to collect after 1week! Then i found it lags a lot..cant scroll..jamned sometimes stuck at one app.. and need to unplug the battery n restart again..!! Even download a few app but its ram showed has been occupied a lot of space.. so disappointed with LG..!!That's why LG was out of trend..!!!

download lg smartflash and the new lgp970_v30b "ap.bin" and "cp.fls" files and manually upgate via pc.. its easy you when you download smartflash, you will get detailed instructions on how to install. its so easy. even a 10 year old could do it.. ive been running the above software for about 2 months and its fine ,no bugs or anything. its the offical update version that the phone comanpies would send over the air..
