I love it, its almost the same options of iPhone 4 with half the price, the screen is wonderful just like an iPhone 4, i use 2g network so the battery last 2 days with browsing and playing games, i use wifi at home.
when i turn the volume all the way the sound seems distorted while calling, but its not a big deal, i lower the volume, they told me the my voice is better than when i had nokia n900, the camera is good although i want the G key to be used to take the photos, maybe they will add the option later

1. network signal quality?
- Network is GREAT, I used 2G network(saves battery) and quite surprising the browsing experience is almost as good as 3G.
2. voice quality in call?
- Clear, very clear. I can hear the other party's environment.
3. camera performance?
- 2MP secondary camera is okay. 5MP primary camera is actually quite AWESOME for a 5MP.
4. music quality?
-Speaker wise is not that good, but handsfree wise IS AWESOME.

I got my P970 yesterday.
So far, I am satisfied with the phone.
The battery well, its a SMARTPHONE, what do you expect. HA HA.
The camera is well, UHMAZING. Like seriously, for a 5MP camera. I'm really impressed.
The display is REMARKABLE. I used the LOWEST brightness it still looked good. And dont argue, IT IS Gorilla Glass Display.
I have some difficulties with the keypad, but I downloaded that Smart keyboard Pro. It helps.
What else. Ah, For a 1ghz CPU, it runs pretty well.
I cant wait for the 2.3 update. I heard the rumours prolly this year Oct.
If you like the phone, JUST BUY IT. You wont regret it.
And please do not compare This phone and Samsung Galaxy i9003. This phone IS WAY BETTER.

AnonD-14858, 26 Jul 2011Hi Sammy, can you plz tell me about 1. network signal q... moreI can say that every aspect u mention or ask on this phone will quite satisfy your hopes. i'm not sure about the network quality but i manage to get always full bar, for it voice call sound quality, it can say to be quite crystal clear as u still can heard caller conversation even in busy and crowded places. For OB camera, consider it a good camera as it have many modes and functionality such face detection and even a continuous focus on video mode when u having yourself recording a video(not every phone have this continuous autofocus). Music quality can so call not the best but NOT BAD!! it has the Dobly surround mode in its music player.. i may have myself some mistakes here but surely i will recommend this LG for you because it is a affordable and nice phone to have and u will nvr regret for it =)

[deleted post]i agree nova display is better than the sc lcd and amoled display of the galaxy s. i compare it to the display of the super amoled plus of the galaxy s well i must the color depth of th s2 is better than the nova but the brightness the nova beat the s2 honestly i like the screen of the s2 the color depth is so good, but compare to the other screen i will pick the nova, well comparing the lg ob to the top high end phone like of the samsung galxy s2 htc sensation,the nova is now a mid range phone no mistake about it the main competitor of the ob is the galxy s 9000,9003,xperia x10 ,neo,htc desire they are on the class of the ob , now each of them have the selling point and ob is top in screen ,the 1 ghz processor is the standard on all of the phone and the design its up to the the taste of the user i like the black and seemless design of the ob the thin and light package now the cam almost all of them have a 5 mp snapper and i think the 5 mp of the ob is better then the 5 mp of the samsung and importantly the ob have led flash so the lg ob have the edge on cam except for the experia who have a 8mp snapper but lags on the os and screen aspect,now the only weakness of the ob is its os it still running in froyo and everbody is rolling out the gingerbread update and i mean everybody even the experia x10 is getting the gingerbread upgrade, thats the only flaw of the ob if its unning in gingerbread i think it will rule the midrange market for now it is a top contender of a tough midrange market

This phone is actually very good at price & design but lags a lot in harware specifications
1).powervr530 is used in our ancient iphone3. even outdated iphone3gs has better one powervr535. so gamers dont go with this. although you can play some good games but fails in playing latest hd games smoothly
2).Although lg claims that their nova display is a monster, it is not.it lags a lot with its competitors AMOLED,SLCD
3)the camera quality is ok not too good. quite poor compared to its competitors
I recommend you to go for htc phones\galaxy s\nexus s\optimus 2x All these are perfect android monsters you will never get dissapointed for buying these above phones
