I'm really impressed with this phone. I bought it two weeks ago and on the first day I got 16 hours with my battery. Then I realized that many update processes were running at the background. I didn't need many of them and stopped the ones I didn't need. I shifted the display to power saving mode, which by the way is MORE THAN ENOUGH. With these power saving settings, I got 2.5 days with my battery. I made calls, sent messages and kept flipping through my gallery in this time. I still haven't activated the internet on my phone, but I don't expect the internet alone to drain away a massive amount of battery. I recommend this phone to anyone. On the flip side the plastic is pretty feeble as compared to the solid back covers of the htc phones. But this is exactly what makes the phone so light. I think once I add the silicone cover, things should be fine.

i have this phone for more than a week now and so far i really happy. i have install some games like angry birds, samurai vengeance and Herman hermit and all are workin very smooth.

BIG BROTHER, 26 Jul 2011use car batery...LOL!! optimus black is very underrated phone. It is as good as xperia arc bar the exterior design. Its is much cheaper too

Hi OB users
I am intending to buy Optimus Black , but what i heard is that the battery doesn't have enough capacity , though the shop assistant said it saves up to 50% of energy under regular settings and it's written in the brochure 2.
So, i really don't know , is it true that i have to charge the phone everyday ? And do u recommend it?

This is the age of honeycomb (android 3.0) But they are still in froyo 2.2 .. :/ ....

Overall its a impress phone .. i love it ~~~~~~ everyday i just can stare to it without touching it... =) but there is a slightly issue that the phone battery can last for 1day and i have to charge it everyday =( compare to my previous handset = Nokia E72.. its a big different in battery life ... BUT the phone rocks!!
