turns out my ba3 was the problem when i visited the service centre...nw my optimus is back to life...i have a fresh start since i ve lost all my apps.
Bt i wont hesitate to give out this fone in xchange for a samsung galaxy s2.

Optimus BLACK- best phone i have ever had. Brilliant display, sppedy processor, it doesnt lag evn though v play HD games, very light & looks awesome. camera performace is decent. just waiting for v4.0.3 ICS..

have been using this phone for over an year now and i must tell u its an absolutely brilliant phone. the display is one of the best out there, cam also is pretty good considering its 5mp. the performance has also been very good no lag issues wen it comes to playing hd games. the only major concern was the battery backup but the latest firmware upgrade to v20g has resolved the battery issues as well. so overall its a very good phone to have. but the only complaint i have is that lg dont release the updates as promised. if that is resolved then lg can soon make it to the top

My only criticism of this phone is that it sucks current (voltage or power to some) like there is no tomorrow, other that it seems like a really good phone. I paid $300 for mine which when compared to other current phones was really good value for money at that price.

Not sure if it is the phone or the plan but I have very spotty service in Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky and Mississippi ... I even went into the Wal Mart I bought the phone at and had 0 service ... what the hell walmart ! this is it for me ! I thought UNLIMITED ment just that .........

hey all i just bought this mobile 2 days ago i am from egypt and i like this mobile much perfect design and good shape and sooo handy.i was having galaxy note but i sold it cause huge size....and when i bought thios mobile i found many nice fetured like
1_for a android mobile its battery is good
2_perfect screen colours and res
3_but camera is not so good and video recorded in 3gp and that baaaaad
overall its good one ......black one is the winner

Too bad our optimus black will not be getting ics update! lg broke its promise again. last lg phone for me. LG SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!!

I heard tat LG has stopped the production of this mobile. Is it true? however a very few stores are still selling it. is it advisable to buy this phone given the circumstances mentioned above? and i also heard der wont be ICS upgarde for this mobile
