I continued playin dis game, my fone got very hot nd d fone went off...i removd d battry nd put it bk bt it jus seemed to blink at d lg logo witout comin on.
I left d battery out of it til dis mrng...today, when i placed bk d battery nd put it on it did likewise bt went off afta a while. I connectd my charger and put it back on, surprisingly, it came on and workd normaly.
It even booted completely nd loaded everytn, bt anytime i remove d charger, it goes off...i av done a factory reset and its stil same. Pls i nid help...hw do i use my fone witout conectin it to a charger.... It even goes off wen am abt to snap pics...am on gingerbread 2.3.4 nd my fone is rooted. Thanks, obinna from nigeria

to those who want to keep their phones alive i suggest rooting your phones. link for a great tutorial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJIV8F2SwTo&feature=plcp
just follow this and you should have a rooted optimus black. now for an ics rom. this is a really good one but it's still a beta but most things work, wifi, 3g/2g, etc just the camera is a bit off but it'll improve. link here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1650537 and also download the gapps file

I've been using this for a year now. It's a great phone!
Except for the quality of Video and Photography, it's been a good performer.
Good value for Money! Keep it up LG!

Ive been hearing news lately that it wont be getting any. nonetheless..its running smoothly at my end. hope that battery would be improved though.... it seems all phones have issues on battery life.
