Samsung stared a new generation of mobile ph... moreLG uses better hardware specs than samsung, samsung lags from LG when it comes to phone internals but we dont say that they all copied LG... but i do know that samsung is the best when i comes to software and upgrades... and LG is just slow as a snail but i think they are making out for it now...

LG Mobile Communications Company results improved significantly in the first quarter, recording revenues of KRW 3.21 trillion (USD 2.96 billion) on smartphone shipments of 10.3 million units, an increase in revenue of 28.5 percent from the same period last year. Healthy sales of LTE smartphones such as the Optimus G and Optimus G Pro along with 3G smartphones including the Optimus L Series and Nexus 4 contributed to the improved results. Operating profit increased almost four-fold from the same period last year to KRW 133 billion (USD 122.69 million) thanks to stronger revenue and better cost structure. The company expects to further increase shipments and sales in the second quarter with the worldwide rollout of Optimus L SeriesII targeting 3G markets with the 5.5-inch Full HD IPS Optimus G Pro and Optimus F Series in countries with 4G LTE networks.

If a phone doesnt release in the US or other parts of the world, would you exclude it... its still a phone that matches samsung in korea
A genation in smartphones are not by number its by line and as we can all see note 3 is the 3rd of the note SERIES not generation ,while G Pro is the 2nd generation of the Vu series

Generation, for example is Samsung S generation and Note, LG L generations and now G generations. You can not compare them with Apple!

And how many galaxies are there? 4, right? So should I compare SGS4 to iPhone 4? because we all know SGS4 wipes the floor with iPhone 4, does that mean that Apple is really THAT incompetent? Of course not, they may suck but not that much. LG G pro being the second generation is because of LG's late arrival in the phablet game, so you should really compare it to Note 3

It uses the lastest snpdrgn 600 series processor so the heating issue would not be a problem.and samsung uses the same snapdrgn 600 in their s4.
its CORE are optimized for smart battry drawing for application. some LCD screen absord heat not much effective but it helps a little

this phone has lower endurance rating because of the pixel density, more colors, more powerful but compared to noteII this phone lacks stylus

Finally Samsung has met its competitor.After couple of brands has fail to meet up to the Samsung super cool features. The hardware n software wise of the Note 2 n Optimus G Pro are pretty much or less the same
I don't think this phone will make people not buy the Note 2 since it leacks the stylus, unless it comes cheaper it might turn out to be an alterntive.
If you are not a big fan of samsung you will definatly love this phone like I do. Am just waiting for it to come to south africa

Endurance rat... moreguy, this optimus g pro use lcd display ,lcd display more easy get heat and more drain battery than amoled display, but more real colour, and also this one has more graphical intensity / pixel density compare to note 2

Listen guys... Samsung stared a new generation of mobile phones, that we all know. All Samsung(original) ones are pretty genuine stuff. Others do is copy the technology and try to compete with Samsung.
In this case it's the same. LG wanted to tie with galaxy note 2.. So they made the "LG optimums G Pro", but the truth here is it all differs to the chip set. I can 100% guarantee that Samsung is more advance than LG.
