Hi,
Can any non-Asia user comment on the Battery Manufacturer ??
Mine is China made on LG E988 India, which has a poor temperature max rate of 40 degreeC.
Well, 10 minutes of 3G/Gaming easily takes the temp beyond that.

Hello people, there's a development on my phone. I checked software update thru my phone and it said am using the latest version. Then i installed LG PC suit and checked there, it showed there is a software update but didnt indicate whether it's kitkat or something else. It said my current version is LG E988A and the new update is LG E988 B, pls who knows what this is?

How about games ?? If I play Asphalt 8(medium graphics) for 10 minutes, dimming starts. Checked the temp using CPU Temp app, CPU-55C and Battery-41C
Btw did you try 3G browsing/download at 100% brightness ?? Just getting curious here.
I haven't seen lot many people commenting about heating issues. Probably most people don't use more than 60% brightness.

I normally have the brightness at 60% and don't face any heating issues.
If problems persist,have it checked out.

The device gets heated up within 15 minutes and starts dimmin brightness. Is it normal ??

I just did the 90MB update and a factory reset on my E988. Now I lost the following apps: Navigation, Local, Talk+, Tag+.
Any idea how can I get it back ??

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2014Try using lenovo cables. Mine is an 3000 mah battery but i ... moreBased on my research, its not about the cables for fast charging. Lg g pro chipset is snapdragon series. And lenovo is using mediatek series. Mediatek has more advantage on how they charge the battery fast than qualcomm snapdragon series. And there is great chance affecting the performance upon software update depending on your chipset. Hope this helps.
