If I buy now the GPro would cost about USD760 (currency converted to USD). The 'new' Note2 that I can get from a dealer Sammy friend for about USD530! That's a whooping USD230 difference. Now tell me which is the better buy? BTW and of course I prefer the GPro. And thanks for sharing your thoughts.

This phone is the best contenders of the large phones that are 5 inches or more. Actually, with the exception of the HTC One, this I would wager is the best phone out there.I actually viewed the HTC One the S4, & the LG Optimus G Pro. Expecting to buy the HTC ONE ( 2nd choice ). Guess what? The G Pro blew away the competition..This Gorgeous screen just reaches out and begs attention. Literally....I actually expected that the G Pro would be inferior to the Samsung s4. As it was, in physically comparing the two phones there was for me, a clear and easy winner with the Optimus G pro. We all know the HTC One's screen is an order of magnitude better than anything out there. The problem is that the screen is 4.7 inches. But I'm not complaining I'm very very happy with my purchase of the G pro. If I had it to do all over again I would make the same purchase.

Furthermore the screen resolution on the Samsung Note II,is, ummm, how can I say it, HORRIBLE. Look at them side by side!! I cant believe you fell for that!! LG=400ppi vs (267ppiSamsung). 400 for the LG AND Snapdragon 600. It's like looking at a TV it's that sharp!!Plus Dolby. Sorry! No, seriously..

Nevertheless, Let this one fact not escape ur attention Lg; if u ever eschew sd slot or removable battery like u did with the original G u surely will lose more market share to competitors. Its obvious, You guys dont realise what consumers go through to obtain one of these toys.
We want somethin very close to optimus Gk...
Isn't it high time u listen to ur fans? Better it is to come late than to be late. You better wake up and face this. I cant take no for an answer with G2.

Most of the reviews are in favor for this G Pro but I doubt it can compete with the sales figure that the Note2 has achieved, knowing that it is thoughtlessly released in few countries only and it takes 6 or 7 months before global rslease. This is an IRRITATING marketing style by LG, announce now and release half a year later. Now people just have to wait for the Note3 after their excitement to buy G Pro is gone because LG consciously keep them waiting forever.

LG announce today release 6 or 7 months later and only in selected regions. And that is how Samsung/Apple stays on top. I hope the G2 will be released globally 1 week after announcement and hope it's before IFA, otherwise evryone already bought the S4 or ip5s. If G2 will be released by July this year then it will PREVENT many from buying the S4 or ip5s, hope LG read this comment.

samsung releases most ... moreTotally agree with you especially your comment on the last paragraph. In my country (again) its a different story when it comes to price. You see the Note2 has been on the market for about 6 months now but GPro is not available yet. By the time GPro
arrive Note2 price drops to about
20% less whereas the newly launch GPro would be about the price of the Note2. Get it? And BTW I can get Sammy device 15% cheaper than market price even though it is newly launch. In the end it is hard to swallow if I have to pay 'so much more' for a LG device.

$199. As stated earlier $199 minus almost any crappy smartphone ( up to $100 ) which is what I paid. Total out the door with taxes=$117.21 (AT&T, New York, anyway)
I am one month later STILL Ecstatic!!! This puppy is on 24/7. Business mostly. Skype. Viber. Tango.

but its only available in 3 countries, while s4 is already released worldwide....
but i prefer lg because of its elegant designs and better TRUE HD IPS Display and better advanced innovative technology...

In my country Sammy (smartphone) is all over the place and quite literally. Previously I prefer Sammy but now it is LG that caught my attention. But poor marketing, price and 'hard to find' their devices in my country is a major letdown. Here is hoping LG will do more to capture the market.
