I bought this phone a couple of weeks ago, so far it works just fine with all the common apps (maps, whatsapp, waze etc etc).
Cost 70 euro, so far I think it's a really good deal.
If you want HD and CPU heavy games, or if you are generally a highend phone worshiper/fanboy, look elsewhere.
If you want a fully useful smartphone for a very low price, so far it's been serving me well.

I think the word "Cheap" has a new defination when it comes to this phone.
It is very user friendly. Mind you, if you are using a very high end phone then you would definetly see the difference, however if you are used to mid range phones and are going up a notch, then this is the phone for you.
While I would give it 8/10 for value for money, user experience and durability. I would give it 7/10 on design.
Again please dont compare this with an iPhone 5s or Samsung Galaxy S4.

This is exactly what I needed, and I'm very happy with it. My other (and personal) phone is an HTC ONE X, but for work I needed something cheap (CHEAP!), usable and Android, just for phone calls, contact sync with GMail and Exchange, email (notification is enough), basic calendar, calculator, texting (Viber and Whatsapp), basic camera, GPS and again cheap. This is doing it all; I am even surprised how acceptably readable is the screen in plain sunlight in the middle of the desert! For that price I feel I ripped off LG!

This phone is for the BASIC user. Don't expect any frills from this phone. It has many aspects of it which makes it completely unusable even for the most simple of tasks. The size of the phone makes it feel compact and stylish but the fact that it's small makes the screen come very close to the menu buttons at the bottom meaning that if you have hands the size of a human and not the paws of a cat then you are in trouble. Many of timesI I have ddiscarded vast amounts of unsaved emails that I've been typing out just because the back button is too close tothe touch screen. That also includes exiting apps when I haven't wanted to. So prepare to get annoyed, very quickly. I also found that after a few days, the phone would begin crashing and apps would randomly shutdown. I would get error messages about apps that had to be closed for no reason. Making yet again, simple tasks that bit more complicated when they don't need to be. Another problem is the capability of the touchscreen. It's very docile, sometimes you have rapidly touch the screen to get it to recognise input. And sometimes, the on board keyboard just doesn't turn up even after multiple attempts at touching the input boxes. Another problem is the lack of performance and ability whilst browsing the net. If you like visiting full desktop version websites than this phone isn't for you. It crashes and slows to a virtual stop whenever you throw a website with more than a few images on it. Making online purchases, and especially online forms a complete nightmare. This phone doesn't have the capability to connect with other wireless devices (DNLA compatible) so if you are expecting to connect to your wireless network and share files and control your DNLA friendly TV or printer then think again. This phone lacks many of the features that other phones in the price bracket have as standard. I didn't expect this lack of quality from LG. In fact, I paid £150 for the LG L5 II which I believe is the bigger brothertto this small phone, you can get the features and quality of a mid ranged phone for half the price so definetly do your shopping beforehand. I just recently purchased a Huawei Ascend Y300 and I've got all the features of a mid ranged phone for cheaper than the LG Optimus L1 II and double cheaper than the L5 II. So market research and a good eye for detail is key. All in all, if you love your phone's and like to use them daily as much as me, a keen Android power user then avoid this phone. There isn't really anything good to report on it, at all.

I only wish in the future LG or any manufacturer to be able to pack more powerful processors and maybe a front cam in the size and form factor...

What can I say. I'm disappointed with this phone. The screen is too small. The touch menu is too near where the keyboard is so if you are a fast typer, you are continuously bringing up menus and accidently doing things when all you want to do is type. The glare from the screens back light is absolutely shameful. You can't view videos without the tacky light glare distorting the content. And it's the same for photos too. The screens balanced brightness at say, 50% is too dark and hard to navigate around the phone. It's crashed on me a dozen times already and I've only had it a week at most. The touch menu isn't illuminated so makes getting used to pressing them more of a chore. The built in loudspeaker for playing music etc cannot cope with playing music at reasonable listening volumes. Mine has already blown and sounds like an early 1900s gramophone. There is no shortcut button like there is on other LG optimus phones. So taking screenshots requires you to manually press through the quickmemo option in the pull down menu. It's barely compatible with simple 3D games like Apparatus or Riptide for example even though it has a modest processor and GPU. Overall it is a terrible phone, even on a budget. You are being punished for buying this device. I'd rather have a Nokia 3310 to be perfectly honest and I've had many phones from many price ranges. From cheap to ridiculously expensive. And this, doesn't even cut the budget spend. If I could send it back and get my money back I would but as it is, I wouldn't even punish the store I bought it from. Your best bet is to just save up and get something with a lot more build quality because you really do want to stay away from this if you know ANYTHING about Android phones.
