ok so here goes..... never usually reviewed any thing yet, found it a waste of efforts. but when it came to buying one for myself i was only looking for reviews first and then went on to shop for the product... so it only makes sense to give my feedback on my experience of using this phone...
I got the LII 715 dual core 756 ram, 2460 Mah battery , 8Mp rear and .3vga front camera.from Croma.
Croma was clearing their stock for this particular phone and they gave it for 12000/-
now before i got this phone i compared it with most samsung , sony HTC ... etc.... the bench mark for the comparison was the CPU speed,the ram and the display size and most of all the battery Mah.
I purchased it, this is my second smart phone my first was a experia mini which I kept charging from car to toilets to airports and finally fed up i got a Nokia asha 201, which has whatsapp running and every other application and the battery never went low. Like never ever went low and I was mostly speaking on the speaker as holding it to my ear is quiet a task specially when most of the time ur hands are on the keyboard or the steering.
the first day i charged it, from a full charge it went to 85% really fast. It has a pull down widget which has the basic power using hardwares On/OFF facility. I immediately deselected the WiFi, the data upload/download, the GPS . As i am a topographical surveyor, I have been using a GPS since 1995. so the geo tagging and GPS nav. etc make me smile as they were obsolete for me more than a decade ago.
What I needed the most was an application which could edit word , excel documents and read pdf formats and transfer them to my lappy or the data card or through BT. which it did.
Practically speaking , this phone is complete value for money in the real sense. tablets are not needed, u can zoom into any size screen and what a Lappy can do a smart phone or a tablet cannot.
Even for gaming , one would ideally like to use the
X box etc..... with the right speakers , yes waitig at transit points during journeys, in remote areas where there is no GSM connectivity, gaming could be a good time pass.
The only thing that one misses in this phone is that the apps cannot be moved to the micro SD card and uses a lot of ROm
buy it switch off the apps u dont use and this is a value for money .better than samsung duos

Hey guys, I am using P715 Dual for almost 4 months now. I am using it as a back-up phone. So it is always on standby only and just 2g network. During the first 2 months the battery standby is really amzing, almost 5 days. On the 3rd month i noticed the declined of the battery life to a little bit over 3 days. I updated the firmware and after that, the battery life become shorter. Now on standby, 1 full charge, can hardly last 2 days. Is the battery worn out already (4 months slightly used)?
Someone who have idea, help please.

LG L7 dual, overall good tool, not too difficult to use, battery life is adequate. Agree with reviewer that said the 4 buttons at the bottoms, escape-home-menu-dual sim are not illuminated, and in my feeling they are also too sensitive. On the other hand, hard button on the right side of the phpne to shut off thr screen is very useful. With single push we can turn the screen off, avoiding the phone to accidentally active inside the pocket etc.
Never try any game, using this phone mainly for work, downloading kingsoft office for spreadsheet-word-presentation application, which is a good software itself.
I need dual sim to get better coverage and take advantage of package offered by different operators.
I like : ability to monitor data usage by each applications, able to stop applications running on background to lenghten battery life and using internet within credit limit.
It is also possible to stop internet after reaching certain amount of data volume,...very useful feature.
Still camera function is ok, hand writing recognition is ok, but voice to text is not too precise.
I dont use quick memo function too much, but sometimes it is very useful. For example to annotate a map and then send the map thru mail etc...
Storage area for camera and message attachement could be set to go external card. But I just recently found out that to upload pics on facebook for example, the pics must be stored inside phone memory and not on sd card.
The size is good, fit to any pocket and I also could operate with one hand to take call. For texting however I am using both hands.....since voice to text software is bit disappointing....
In overall, good work from LG, this is a reasonably priced phone with usable good features, and dual sim capability. Need to see how long it will last....typically I am kind of person who has no mercy for almost anything, and I will use this little phone until it breaks for sure.

Hi guys i purchased it before 1 month.. thr is a problem in cam... in day light it is very clarity. but in dark even in evening. it not clear..& also drain battery very fast when u use net... rather r good

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2013how do we make a video callDownload SKYPE apps from google market , save your money in video call. It is free. Your counter partner must have SKYPE spp as well. You must have good connection of Internet to do video cslling.(3G) I use this phone and Samsung Note 2.
