I bought Samsung Galaxy Duos and sold it the following week, why? Cos it's too slow! Imagine a single core processor phone with 512 MB Ram with that OS! Too bad phone. Again every phone with powerful processor must get warm not heated. I'm not using this phone but I think with 760 MB Ram and 1GHZ Dual core processor, this LG phone is good.

As i m using LG OPTIMUS L 7 II for more than one month. I bought this mobile from chennai India.
The phone is having some major problems as below
1) Mobile heats up very fast, continues normal functioning for 10 mins. results in temprature increase and u cannot brighten ur mobile more than 61%.
2) Camera is poor as compared to samsung galaxy s duos 5Mp.
3) Screen is not responsive as compared to samsung s duos.
4) Mobile phone hangs while playing games like Temple run 1.
5) Screen colors are dim as compared to samsung s duos.
its a full defective piece due to its heating problem plz dont purchase

We all know that this is a mid range phone and thus anyone thinking of it as an option must not keep his expectations very high.
When you listen of high end phones you feel thats what you should be delivered but then you must pay that price too.
Any phone that lies within this range will always make its user suffer in one or the other way.
For now this phone is the very best best option from any of the big brands.Yes the games lag sometimes but that because of these phones doing multi tasking,apps keep on refreshing and when network is used games lag. But it has not hung yet and its been a month. If you are not using net then it fast enough. A phone's performance largely depends upon its user. Most of the people arent able to optimize their methods with mobiles and thus suffer. If you know what you are doing then you will not suffer much with this device :)

guys i have this phone
though its a dual core device still its lags sometimes while playing games likes Temple run 2 and subway surf
these are not high end games
camera of samsung and sony phones are much better than Lg
but still @ rs 14990/- (current Price)
its the best branded budget device
overall for normal consumer its a good option
otherwise the substitute is Micromax Canvas HD A 116

AnonD-142689, 10 May 2013 some application need the app data stored on sd or memory ... moreI havent had any problem storing any app. All the apps nearly have asked for the permission to modify sd card contents and they have all worked. What i have noticed is that its internal memory is shown everywhere as an "sd-card" and your actual sd card as "external sd-card" so.. i guess that takes care of it in some internal way.Yes its true no app can be stored on sd card even by using any app. But you can keep your internal free by moving all your other data to the external memory. :)

For the eating problem.. it comes with every phone that has a dual core processor..so.. it will happen.. but the phone takes care of itself and reminds you about it getting too hot and reducing the brightness and other things.

What you can do is to download any battery saving app,charge your phone for more 15 minutes

Im using dis phone for a week,It runs smooth when using apps and with multimedia but it has some cons
1.The phone gets hot while playing games
2.The specified battery is 2460mah battery, but battery sucks, its draining quickly...
3.It can play 720p videos , but it skips lot of frames(used MX player).
4.no backlit led buttons,which is dissapointing...
5.Touch sensitivity is not excellent
Otherwise the phone is good....
The positives are
1.Thin and sleek design
2.Excellent UI
3.Smooth for normal operations
4.camera is good
The battery life sucks....Its draining very fastly if we play games..can anyone help me with it?

What if there is... more1700 MB of internal storage can handle installation of 40 apps if average app size is 40MB... and these apps can be uninstalled at any point of time when they start sucking or become boring or useless... So, memory is not an issue
Moreover, this phone is not made for high end HD games which consume memory in Gigabytes.

the heating problems are due to the phone adapting to the usage of the user.. i have used it for a month, the heating ceases..
the transfer to sd cards of apps is not supported..however, the 4gb memory is enough for 2-3 HD games, 6-7 social apps(facebook, twitter..), 5-6 useful apps(dictionary, flashlight)
IT CAN PLAY HD MOVIES!!! damn! it has android jellybean, PLEASE DO TRY TO DOWNLOAD AN APPLICATION TO PLAY HD AND ALMOST ALL FORMATS!!!!!!!!!!!(did you ever have an android phone??)

Its performance is really good as i olready mentioned. Buttons are very responsive and the dual sim switch is awesome.its olmost instantaneuos no matter how many apps are running.
And for someone asking about internal getting full after few downloads... well buddy at most the usually needed apps(apart from games) are of 10-60 mb and you have over 1.75gb of availble space so it will store more apps den u would use in a month wothout causing any problem.. only problem would come if you would heavy games but again i would say in this budget.. what you can ask from a phone it pretty much has it ol.
