it's ok and you have to have volume UP all the way.
2. Do you get 3G on both ATT and T-Mobile.
not getting 3g on AT&T ... in my area T Mobile is using the 1900 band so i do get HSPA 3g
3. Does the phone hang (given it only has 760 mb ram)
have had it for 4 days and it has crashed 2 times when using Quick translator. i don't think that was becasue of all the RAM was used.
looking at task manager with NO apps running i'm only seeing 250mgs free.
4. Are the android keys backlit ?

5. You mentioned about phone getting hot, is this frequent occurance
Yes (very warm not hot), anytime i use it on web for more then 15 min. it doesn't pop up a message saying "hot" .. but you can check it by trying to make the display brighter = it then pops up message stating TEMP is too high =so can't make the screen brighter ... normally i keep screen at 55% = too dim for sunlight .. need 85+% for sunlight

Good phone with nice battery. I used Samsung dues 7562 but not good. I love to have this LG.

Hi.I bought it ten days back. The visibility under sunlight is very poor. A sudden noise continuously for several minutes solved only after temporary removal of battery. some times the phone hangs on. other functions are alright.

Nice ......great display....a bit heating is there but i hope thats the problem with android phones....otherwise value for money in 15k......download MX player and play HD videos....without any lags....nice interface....

Anonymous, 03 May 2013Does your phone get hot ?If I use net continuously (while downloading) for more than one hour, it is getting hot. Earlier I was using Samsung galaxy SL for 2 years. In that phone also I was facing the same problem. Avoid downloading continuously for a longer period.

everything smooth....

i have had it for 2 days. not happy with it.
also have samsung duos GT-S6102, nokia 701, nokia c01, zte f160 unlocked phones.
i find the LG antenna's very weak. i put in T mobile & At&t sims. 90% of time neither work at my house. the sims work in my other 4 unlocked phones
signal test= LG & samsung , both phones have T mobile & at&t sims in each at same time.
looking at signal strength on each phone at same time
LG t mobile - 109 , at&t -105
samsung T mobile -89 , at&t -89
also last night when i was using wifi on LG looking up info on LG on web - i wanted to make screen brighter ( at 60%) i couldn"t because it said the temperture was too high ... stopped using it for 15min, then i could then make display brighter.
quick translator = you get one language dictionary free , all other you have to pay $$. if you don't buy the language dictionary you need, it uses Google Translate. Qtranslator is interesting but needs some work ..IMO down load Google translate and download the languages (then you don't need data connection) for free.
in general it's faster/newer then my samsung has android 4+ but if you can't make a call it is useless ...
i've taken both phones about 2 miles from here where samsung signals in are in -75 range and the LG is always 9-20 numbers higher (signal strengh changes very rapid on LG).. have also noticed that how you hold the phone affects signal strengh .. the sim toggle on bottom right is PAIN as i tend to touch it while holding it and it pops up sim thing ...
also in my area T mobile has the 1900 band and it does do HSPA ...
bottom line here is , IMO not worth $175 more then samsung low end 6102 .. if it had same signal strength as the samsung then MAYBE WORTH IT ..
