i have changed jelly bean to kitkat
1)it lags a lot
2)when i pick up pictures it becomes blurr
3) the battery goes very fast(when the battery is full and start to play temple run or even use whatsapp it deteriorates and comes to 20% in less than half an hour)
4)the google services cannot be brought to original one
even if i format the mobile then to the ram remains is around 20 mb
pls bring the update to lollipop with less app size less ram and its urgent
waiting for the reply kitkat is the worst update of p715
when will official update come of this model

I had just upgrade android to kitkat on my LG P715 dual but I can't access my 3G and my sim card is not detected... Please help

Dear All,
I have this phone P715 dual sim and I am using 3G on 2nd sim it is made in Korea and not china may be this is the reason why my phone works like a charm, I have upgraded it to Kitkat and formatted it and now my phone is superb I have 16gb memory card and it runs without lagging/hanging and battery backup is also excellent like it was at the time of Jellybean.
LG is the best.

Worst phone ever. Unreliable, keeps shutting down, slow, not enough internal hars drive to run any apps (i know you have the option to store apps on sd card, but this phone cant read an sd card 80% of the time). Just started dying about 2 weeks after warranty expired. Piece of shit .

Dear All,
I have updated my LG P715 to kitkat but after update it started lagging and also battery started draining very fast, I tried calling LG Customer care for downgrading back to Jelly bean but they did not get my call and the the call got transferred several times to home appliance department instead of mobile department several times then I decided to format my LG P715 and pressed volume down key + short cut Q memo Key + power botton and now it is awesome my phone is working smoothly and battery is also excellent. Really everyone must upgrade to Kitkat and just format it then the phone will work like a charm enjoy this superb handset from LG.

just costumer care people are irresponsible.

and put your phone serial number in the box and it will tell you which rom you must download.
then go here
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=21
and download it
you must download and use "lg software update" but before that search in google and find full guide for your phone.
i dont have it in english sorry ...
it takes aboute 15 minutes to upgrade to kitkat (4.4.2) and you must not touch anything till its finish and your phone self-resets.
