I hope they don't price it as a midrange device. Despite having a dual-core processor, it's still just an A5 processor as compared to the other A9 dual-core chips used in other midrange phones. I've been seeing the MSM8225 in phones which costs $100-200 so hopefully LG doesn't screw up on the pricing.

xpser, 23 Feb 2013I m sure that this phone wil not record video at 720p.remem... moreThis is my only concern about this phone ..... i hope u r wrong because 4 me this is an ideal mid range device .
4.3" screen , over 200 ppi , 8 mp camera , vga video calling cam , compact size , good cpu and ram for a midranger , 4 gb internal memory which is good enough 4 apps , 32 gb micro sd card 4 all other files , JB out of box , dual sim capability and finally great battery +2400 mah . so if the video is 720p , definitely i will buy it .if not , it will be a deal breaker 4 me :( .
also i am concerned about the screen protection !! any suggestions !

LG should also increased microSD exapandibility upto 64GB and internal memory to 8GB. Its corners should be less angular shaped. And also, L9 II should have a improvised processor and other features.

All the complains about resolution: 800x480 is SUFFICIENT. Not superb, not even good, but you wont get eye cancer from it. Also, it is obvious, that they want to reach maximum battery life with this size of battery, so quality of display was not their priority. If the pricetag would be right, i am definitely buying it.

No higher resolution display (same resolution as in old L7), no NFC, no tv-out, only higher price range. Can it beat the Grand ??

There will be also LG L7 II (without dual sim) and I think its shape will be the same as the current Lg l7 p700(not oval)
