I finally opened a ticket to LG support and their answer was to keep 4.4.2 but hard reset the phone. After this hard reset and reinstall of all my applications, I would say that the phone is now usable, although a bit slower than it was with 4.1.2.
Not sure that the 4.4.2 upgrade worths it.

🎆Phone works awesome after update and it is better than jelly bean it is faster abd better optimised do not downgrade to jelly bean just send e mails to lg to fix this update if they can. ;)

After upgrade to Android 4.4.2 (fw V20a) in France, the phone became incredibly slow with a lot of lags. It is about unusable. Is there a way to downgrade it to 4.1.2?

the comments on KK upgrade are contradictory.
my phone battery is excellent in standby (almost no drain) and i love that. please tell me will it be gone by update?

I am so disappointed in kitkat! The only feature (Smart Caller ID) that I was looking forward to, doesn't work. When I called my phone from local business registered on Google plus nothing happened, it was still an unknown number. I've never been so disappointed in my life.

For the haptic feedback (like, vibration on lock screen): just found an app named HapticSwitch that does not require any permissions. It just toggles haptic feedback and nothing else.

Mine also enabled by itself, literally overnight, the haptic feedback. No option to disable it in settings. I always though windows was a pain... now I have to fight the phone?
