Probably the best budget android available. Screen very sharp and bright even though low resolution. Angry birds runs mega fast. Froyo speeds things along too. Audio a dream loud and clear from headphones and speaker, minor limitations due to slower processor like screen feels a little more like touch resistive, apart from that feel a fantastic handset and pleased lg have fully embraced android. Think what Nokia could have become:(

Hy i am using this mobile for about a month. I can say that it is worth the price. I would definetly buy this one comapired to the optimus gt540...
Hardware: PLastic body is hard and compact so it gives a nice solid feel... There are few flaws... micro sd card slot is covered by a backplate that covere the battery and there is no camera button. Device runs on a 600mhz proc (msm7227) and has dedicated gpu, whic is quite fast, i got 38-47 fps in neocore(depends on running programs). Can play games quite smooth, but i dont know angry birds sometimes lag(i have red that it also lags on other phones). photos are hmm, it is 3 mpx camera so dont expect to take a photos for astronomy but are acceptable. video is relatively good (24 fps 640*480). The best improvement is capacitive screen. I have tryed gt540 and its resistive screen sucks, rly. The free ram is around 180 mb, but is angain eaten by all widgets you place on desktop( believe me they do eat allot of ram) so i am having aprox. of 60-70 mb of free ram. Wifi is fast, browsing is smooth even with music in bacground. i think that this device have around or little more than 256 mb od ram, or system eats 200mb?!... nevertheless this is very good phone and i vould give it 8/8.5 of 10. if you are interested in anything else ask me. And yes, i forgot, the screen is good despite it isonly 320*240. I hope that this phone will become more pošular so custom roms will come... sorry for spelling mistakes

just got released in india @8999 RS/- a bit expensive u can get optimus p500 for 10500
badly priced by LG
