bily, 04 Feb 2012yes you can use the other SIM But what abt calling or receiving calls/call waiting on 2nd sim while 1st sim is already on call.

yes call can be recieved on the oder sim..but sometimes the network doesnt show on the oder sim...if u try to call is show not reachable (somttimes)... i m using the phne from last week....

Who are using this LG Optimus Net Dual!
When ONE SIM is using for Data usage (Internet purpose) can i receive or dial any calls or SMS from the other SIM?
Please give me reply as soon as possible i want to buy if that question is clarified.

When I am surfing the net through SIM 1, via 2G/3G, can I make a call from SIM 2 or can a call come in for both the SIMs ? Also, while on the net from from SIM 1, can texts come in or go out from SIM 2 ? Lastly, once I release call from one SIM, how much time does it take for both to go back to standby mode again ?

Happened to read user manual of LG P698. It written the following points under "USB computer connectivity section"
LG-P698 does not support:
- LG Air Sync (Web Sync, RClick)
- OSP (On Screen Phone)
- To-do in Calendar
- Memo
- Java application
After installing PC Suite IV, you
can find the User Guide in the
Help menu.
Does this mean this phone does not support mobile programs running java? Doubt arose since this was written under USB connectivity section.

As i am ... moreworth 899 riyals here in Qatar, i find it as a good phone since its operating with "Android OS, v2.3.4 (Gingerbread)" plus the fact that its cheaper compared to some andriod phones. not to mention its dual sim capabilities.
