however i answer. let's expect atleast by reading my opinions whether it is hands on experience for everybody.
1) to have error free downloads in wifi connection, you have to select background datasetting>enable plug in> select "on demand".just see the speed of web surfing
last but not the least do you see your"my phone no" is blank under "settings>about phone>status> ?
one trick to add your phone no.i would have certainly reply but why others are not sharing their views and hands on experinces.
let's disclose our application softwares that we install for ourselves.why we are reluctant to let others to know. all my downloaded applications are to be disclosed in my next post.

Can somebody post the change log from Froyo to Gingerbread on this awesome handset here please.
Anyone in Kenya updated their Optimus one to gingerbread? Where did you do it?
The lg mobile update tool says I have the latest which is V10G whereas LG PC suite claims there is an update available.
Do I have to go to the LG service centre?

Guys dont believe some mad a** holes here, they know a damn about android - with the gingerbread update o1 performance has simply doubled, no lags, smoother touch, deeper colours, faster multitasking....
even the statistics say these things - check it out yourself- on quadrant froyo gives around 400 but after updating to 2.3.3 it gives a score more than 800 - neocore froyo gives around 25 FPS but after updating it gives around 45 FPS...
only downside battery backup has decreased by 4-6 hrs than froyo.... but still you can get 1.5 days straight with normal use...

ive come to realize that i wont update my froyo this year. as to what i've heard, gingerbread ruined lg optimus one's reputation.
maybe next year. in a lg service center so that i wont void the warranty of my phone.:)

hey user if u havnt done d 2.3 on op1 ....
so plz dont wish to do so...
ive done it n its has jst ruin my g8 experience wid my op1 ...
nw d phone get hangs a lot ... musiz player dont work properly as i try to do multitaskin....
want to degrade it to 2.2 or else wanna try an custom rom on it bt ....
an middle fingure to off 2.3 it sucks....

Very nice and smooth display...
camera is OK not very good..
sound quality on speaker is good but not loud...
sound in headset is excellent...
take long to charge around 3hours but battery life is very good as compare to other android phones....
i m satisfied with this phone... except 2things : camera and speaker sound... otherwise the phone is awesome.. better to go for this ... rather than galaxy pop or fit,,, they do dont have nice display this optimus....
