Optimus Hero, 18 Aug 2011I don't understand..whats wrong with LG why are they not up... moreWell thats the strategy....Optimus one wont get GB in india until Net hits the shelves....Same old marketing strategy that every company follows..LG is no different..Try the CM7 mod dude...Heard good reviews about it...Anyway the official update wont be as good as the cm7 port

I don't understand..whats wrong with LG why are they not updating phones to Gingerbread in INDIA.. Any idea guys?
May be they are waiting for Optimus Net to hit the market. Very frustrating to wait..By the time they update our phone, Google will announce Android 2.4.

Yes, still have dust problem, i own one O1 and i can confirm you that i can see small points of dust under the transparent display.

Friends, I bought this handset 2 days ago and its simply superb. But now I am in a serious problem !!!
I am able to login to gmail and facebook, but unable to login to gtalk and I am not able to download anything from android market....
Someone please HELPPP !!!!!!!!

I upgraded my phone with cyanogenMod 7. Mik's OS 6.5.6 that gives me android 2.3.4. And I love this overall performance increased and get rid of lg pre-installed application. Sound with equalizer, good battery backup. Should try members it awesome.

amit, 13 Aug 2011you must have the same number in the sim contacts and that ... morei did not understand...because i did not save any numbers in sim.i just synchronised my friends numbers from facebook and google itself.its saved in phone contacts.but my problem is "when they call me.it is not showing their name. its showing only their number.but it shows name for sms"...what can i do now?.

I have done for my LG P500 , it works great and the phone performance has been increased.
But one disadvantage, you will loose the LG preloaded apps.

Im just ganna say that lg is a kinda robust phone, i have an lg gs190 when I get mad i trow it at the floor i mean really trow it like a baseball on the floor yet it still worked and then it accidentally slipped out of my hands and it got plunged in water when i was doin the dishes yet it still worked!!! Im just sayin that lg is a kinda robust brand like nokia
