Go to Settings> Wireless & networks> Mobile networks> Access Point Names and then enter the following information...

PORT: Blank
USERNAME: Blank
PASSWORD: Blank

can any one say is mobile tracker option available in lg? or do we have any android app that sends msg if the sim are replaced?

after a month with my Optimus one, here's what i have find out. The phone lags on games and on the LG userinterface is a firmware problem on Kernel( and to fix this i am on my way to install a custom rom of Megatronv1, Cynanogen7 or the OpenOptimus) see xda devs info about it. as for the screen resolution i found out that it actually not a low end android phone nor mid-range, but rather a elite-range, which is the middle of mid-range and high-end phone, see for your self, text & calls is something that all phone has, which is optimus1 is good at. Music? I cannot actually believe that it was my opt1 i was listening too, i thought my touch did that and his jb speaker. to sum up, Music in loudspeaker is AWESOME. GAMES( as long as i have this touchbug on my opt1 i cannot enjoy so much games so i really need to finish my things). Video is the one that you need to do a little adjustment too, for the stock vidPlayer won't play high res vids, download some player, I used so far Mobo and QQ(which is korean i dont understand), but so far the video that is 2g in size can play LOL, awesome too. Battery? i used mine listening music or games while travelling about 1 hour and just used atleast 15 or 20%, text and call which i used not that much doesnt eat juice of my battery, mine last 3 days. without any modification i do when my rest day is up.
and to answer some query.
Music - to use as ring tone while playing on stock player you can actually click the first button on the left which pop up the USE AS RINGTONE, or you can put some music file on the sd card>media>ringtones then you have now message ang ringtone to use. transfering you have OIfilemanager and Thinkoffice which on long press on the music file pop up the choice of share then choose bluetooth to send.
Video> as i've said you can download lots of free apps or donate apps on XDA,for free Market is always up for a lot of player.
dust screen problem? mine doesnt have at least for now. but i will surely post some info about when mine has.
Android 2.2.2 V10F FEB still waiting for the official if it will have, if not then fine ROOT>RECOVERY>ROMS

somaan, 24 May 2011Im facing memory shotrtage... ive installed a 40mb game in ... moreI am also facing the same problem. The piece will come with 1.86 GB of memory card but shows only ~1.3 GB. I guess cell is not recognizing memory card! After downloading few songs and few apps my memory card left with only 200 mb. I was just shocked :(. Please guys help me in understanding this problem.

guys I'm facing a new problem . my screen time out is set at 30 sec but after some time its automatically unselected . now each time I've to use the on off switch or set the timeout each time!!pls help if any solution!

Despite what some are saying here, phones that have this issue rectified are still not in the market. Think twice before buying.

you dont have the mms settings on your phone go to the nearist network store and get the settings .

I really thought the LG P500 was a great phone - in ideal conditions that is. But now I have been totally letdown, and I'm very disappointed with it! In the home and with Wifi, the phone works well and you can clearly hear loud ringtones and sound, but out on the noisy street and with a crowd of people, it is hopeless. I missed so many important phone calls/mms as I couldn't hear the phone ring. While I was making important and urgent calls on the phone, it just freezes - I have to open the back cover and take off the battery to restart (long wait for boot up). This phone even froze when you unlock the screen.
Other cons of this phone includes: lack of internal memory; connecting and disconnecting a call freezes - touch screen unresponsive; live wallpapers slows phone down; too many apps slows down the phone; you can not see the screen in sunlight - you have to find shade; no flashplayer for flash websites; long boot up times; constant problems with LG suite (for sync to pc)etc. I wasted £200 hard earned cash on this phone and I would NOT recommend it, it's not fit for the purpose, and a letdown when it comes to making important phone calls when you need it the most! No wonder LG does not even support this phone! Save your money for a better mobile phone!

I have this phone and it's great!! The only problem is the only problem is the dust that enters to screen... Do Somebody else have this problem??

I have this phone and it is great . The only problem I am having is when I get an MMS message I always get the error "Currently unable to download. Try again later". It never can download them and the message expires. Anyone can you help me pleeeeezzzzz?

WHY ?
- I just speak what I need and google searches it for, I have forgotten typing for Google search.
- Easy management of connections, I just scroll the top bar and click on the type of connection I need for internet. I.e GPS, or WI-FI or GPRS or Bluetooth. Just Amazing.
- SPEED - Amazing speed, I use basic applications and this phone has never hanged.
- Touch Screen - PRetty good, has never failed, very comfortable with the touch screen.
- Music - I Love the music quality, earphones are good enough, if you have beter earphones like BOSE or Shennizer, its mindblowing.
- Internet is pretty quick, downloads are so easily manageable, multiple downloads of files too does not slow its speed.
- ANDROID MArket, you have android, you have world in your hand. So many great applications and best part , lot of them are FREEEEEEEEEE !!!!
So many other things I just cant type.. but its a great phone and I am satisfied with it 100%.
