MX Player is best for LG P500, just convert your video into .AVI with xvid codec so it won't be that large file... (320x480) ....perfect video like HD....

But I found a solution. On my pc I installed 'Handbrake'. With this software you can convert a movie to a much smaller file with a lower resolution. Then it plays excellent. A player I like is MX Player.
In Handbrake, you need to adjust some settings, so that your movie is played at the right aspect ratio. Good luck!
