The phone is a very good. it has most of the features one could possibly need except a sec camera. using it for quite some time now, and i am quite satisfied.

What is ... moreMy choice is O1. Main reason it provides the same functionality of ACE at nearly Half its price :) and good community support..
Only difference is b/w O1 and Ace is Camera and Screen Resolution.
Fit is Priced high than O1 though it has same specifications b/w its ram is less than O1.
O1 has better battery than both fit and ace.

I m using this hanset with 8GB of memory card and mo... morei also used 8gb sd card, and at first i experience the same problem, but when i configure my setting > location and security or sd storage, i used some password on it, and tick on used secure credentials it doesnt disconnect the sd card anymore, unless i connect my phone to lg pc suite IV, to those who's having problem connecting their phone to pc suite, just do the same, and tick on used secure credentials and mass storage only, then turn on the usb connection, there i got the update of 2.2.2 v10f february 25 i guess, it's best. anyway i'm from philippines i dunno if your country provide the same v10f, better connect your phone to pc suite every day or every other day for the update of 2.3 hope it will come must sooner ^_^ enjoy the optimus one, it's good even if the price would be a lot i would still buy another one ^_^ flash = good browser(tips)

I think this is best mobile running with android 2.2 os
in middle range phones. now i would like to inform drawbacks of this phone.
1.keypad arrangement not so good.
2.even though it has 1500mah battery its stores only 450mah. you can fix this by full cycle charging.
3.it has only 163 MB internal memory which may not be sufficient.phone update needs about 80 MB internal memory viz. maps, you tube and other apps. remaining memory for other apps.
4.there is no chance for installing flash player.
5.no use of LG apps adviser.
6.there is no camera flash.

Flash is not compatible with LG P500 .. But you can use skyfire browser from android market .. It will help u to some extent for flash.

Having trouble playing HD videos on the LG Optimus One?
You need to update the latest firmware update, to play HD videos. I use the YouTube app and also Dolphin browser and they both work fine. You can also download the excellent Dolphin Browser HD V4.6 from the Android Market.
My model runs Android 2.2.1, Kernal version 2.6.32.9, Dec 10-2010. Software ver. V10c-Dec10-2010. Go to settings, about phone and all phone info is shown.
Recently LG has issued an updated software version v10d-MAR-01-2011 for LG P500. The latest software update v10D upgrades Android 2.2 to Android 2.2.2. You can update your Optimus One to the latest firmware v10d using LG PC Suite which comes loaded on the Free 2GB microSD card.

Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for Optimus One is expected to be released by end of May 2011, but there is no confirmation yet about it.
