hey i bought this mob last sunday in mobile store and its awesome guys...battery back up is good it has a head earplug headset lik which comes with sony walkman mob...audio clarity and sound is good..camera clarity is also good didnt expect this from LG...good work keep it up and please upgrade this to 2.3 gingerbread

hey can anybody tell me how tethering works. whenever i tetherd my phone it did nothing. Initially when i did than my PC automatically connected to the net and when i check status it shows speed 431Gbps. But now nothing happens at all after tethering. And also in my mobile HSPDA network works well and give me spped of 800kbps but when i connect it to pc it only shows 115kbps. any suggestion to improve it???????

also follow these steps to save battery
1.Avoid Live wallpapers as they use CPU
2.Switch off the autosync option which uses your data connection resulting in heavy network usage
3.Whenever you are in no coverage area switch to airplane mode to avoid the cell radio searching for network signal which drains battery heavily.

Yaa u can do this from the Settings menu ..... by tethering the connection through usb or by WiFi .. :)

Here in Nepal, People working at LG service centre are bunch of noobs!!!!
They say that they don't know how the dust went!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They just cleaned it and did nothing else to prevent the dust from entering the screen.
I also said them that they need to keep some kind of stickers to prevent the dust but again they replied they don't know how the dust went.
Also one guy said that he had two OPTIMUS ONE and it didn't had the dust problem and suggested me to use the phone in the right way!! :(
Just like Steve Jobs who said " Your'e holding the iphone in the wrong way!!!! FML
Now the only option I have is to go to the service center every month or two to just clean the god damn mobile!
Any Optimus One user from Nepal who are facing dust problem?????? How to solve it?

... more1.The sound of loud speaker is not enough. I am missing many calls. The message tone is worse.
Solution : Try to set good Ringtones ( get Blackberry Ringtones app from market which has very good tones and message tones with high decibel )
2.There is no provision for attending the calls with headset as it does not have the switch to attaend the call.
Solution:The headset has a button along with the left ear wire which is used for attending calls or hanging up and the same button when presses twice the audio player will jump to next track.
3. Apart from attending calls, sms, radio and camera, you cant do anything without internet(utter waste).
Solution: Why we call it as smartphone ? without internet smartphone cannot be smart enough.Apart from this u can use GPS and accelerometer for games and digital compass for direction finding.
4. There is no provision even to delete/move the files from the memory card/one folder to another. you hav to connect to PC for that.
Solution: Download AndroZip from market and see how powerfull is this App.
5.You cannot set a ring tone from the file folders as you wish. you have to download the ringtone or select the set of ringtones
Solution: Just longpress on the song or ringtone which u want to set and see the option " set as ringtone " thats it
Without trying any options dont just simply start giving complaints.

I do not agree to ur points as u said this is just a basic phone
