Abhi, 20 Apr 2011my phone version is 2.2.1.......is 2.2.2 is out...?????yes, it is available & i have update my p500 to 2.2.2 on yesterday. till now i have not sense any improvement in speed or any other department .
but if you wish to update it.

Anonymous, 21 Apr 2011Am interested in this phone, but i've read about some issue... moreI bought the phone lgp500 a month ago and all i can say is wow the phone is cool especially considering its price. I had the the problem with the dust settling under the screen after 3 weeks and took the phone to lg service center.They cleaned the phone and fixed the issue by inserting something (supplied to all service centers to solve the dust problem) and told me it wont happen again. O'wise am satisfied with the phone.

Am interested in this phone, but i've read about some issues like "unable to send apps to sd card n device gathers dust including underneath the screen". Can anyone clear this up pls?

Im using this phone for the past 3 months and its was good.
Recently my phone has corrupted my memory card, its not recognising it at all and i'm not able to use that card in PC also. Two of my memory cards have been corrupted this way..
There seems to be lot of people affected this way..

It is brilliant as my first smart phone, came free for £10 a month contract which include un/capped internet data, all type of connectivity(except infra red), satnav what more any one believe in hitech and always connected to internet. I will brand as a faster than net book. I am enjoying it.

And t... morewell, just google it, first, google the thunderg recovery installation, find it in youtube, ofcourse you'll have to root first, rooting is as easy as abc, you wont find it difficult. google it. just google everything, all instructions are given, make sure to follow them, especially installing recovery, very dangerous. be sure to write the files in VERBATIM. meaning, exactly how you see them. google megtron, DL it, google mik's kernel, DL it, then, flash it via recovery :)
