avi, 24 Feb 2011Guys i am in some sort of dilemma,just when i had made up m... morehi..kindly go for optimus..bcoz i am using samsung s5770 its screen resolution is not good and by the way optimus can get 2.3 gingerbread...but not with samsung...optimus is better in all aspects....so go for it..

Gede Bagus, 25 Feb 2011Hi All, Please tell me how to register divx for this pho... moreYou should be able to register Divx by going to settings - About Phone - DivX VOD registration, when pressed it will show your code, then go to this site "http://support.divx.com/faq/view/supportFAQen110/Register-a-certified-device" and follow the instructions, this should work though I have not tried myself yet.

Battery is excellent ,but takes forever to charge. I haven't found a major weakness for this phone yet.

sunil, 23 Feb 2011can any one send me the swype beta apk i am not able to dow... moreYou may just register in Swype website. They will send you the confirmation link in a day or two. Login to their website in computer using that link. once your account is activated, login using your P500 and download and install swype. it works fine on my P500. It is much better in looks as well as works than the LG keyboard.

As i said there is no Offical Gingerbread ROM still for P500,but a lot of custom roms available including mine of Froyo 2.2.1 Neooptimus1.2s and also baked Gingerbread from CM source files and runing on my phone ,Have not yet released GINGERBREAD,will release once fixed some issues
And another users asking for HD capabale
Please review the specs of device which is self expalanatory whether device is HD capable or Not.Moreover you will not get any phone manufacturer giving you HD capable at Mid range phone prices....so there is no point asking this Q

Loudness is good for loudspeaker and when playing music (and headsets).
Fast, but lags sometimes. Camera for picture and video is good.
Limited Multi-touch (for some applications).
Overall, Good phone and i recommend :).
