I'm planning to buy this phone today & i've heard a lot about this phone however i'm afraid of placing my money on LG as a Brand . . .
Please help me & mention if you think any other phone is better in the same price range !

Hey Friends,
Heard that the dust problem was specific to a batch of units dispatched till Nov 2010. The Dust problem has been resolved on all units dispatched thereafter. Can any1 confirm this ?
The price of O1 in Bangalore is 12300 currently. Any1 getting a better price in bangalore ? Also does the Box piece contain In-ear headphones like the one given by sony ericsson ?

because of android application the model is good.
otherwise, mp3 player is not that much good.
touch screen is not that much responsive.

dust under screen is a big problem for optimus 1 ,but if u carry ur optimus in the covered pouch then it wont be much of a problem,i tried it and it worked for me

I just bought this phone over the weekend (12350 PHP). It is a great phone for its price. Already installed lots of apps on it. It is running stock 2.2.1 android right now at 600Mhz. The large RAM is really important because the Linux kernel can do multi-tasking better with it and not all apps can be moved to the sd card.

dongdelf, 15 Feb 2011Anyone pls help me...ive lost all my files in my gallery an... moreconnect it to your pc and delete the ".nomedia" files from your pictures/music. the .nomedia file ca be created by some apps if you don't want your random pictures(avatars,contact fotos,etc.) or sounds (from games) to show up and unnecesary filling gallery/audio players.
If you don't want the game sounds to show up in your audio player just copy&paste the .nomedia file in the game dirctory. The .nomedia file will hide all your media from apps in his folder and subfolders.

just tap the home screen for 5 sec and u will get the option for wallpaper.i got this 2 weeks ago and i am in love with this beast

hi everyone! i need help
i am very confused between lg optimus one and sonyerricson xperia x8, which one should i go for?
xperia has better user interface, better touch and looks classy,but android 2.1
whereas lg has lot of applications,android 2.2 but im concerned about lg as a brand,and im thinking that i may repent after taking an lg.i ve heard this phone hangs a lot.
p.s- this would be my first android phone
please help!

I guess u hv excluded Particular folder from media scan...go in to the folder whr u hv music n pics n press button which is all the way to left n then include it in media scan...

lg as a brand hass evolved now buddy ,they are on a revival streak with optimus ,selling 1 million units is some achievement ,so go on and buythe optimus ,lgs best unit so far
