guys john is promoting optimus ,come world cup and it will b optimus every where in india,cool gadget,lg is promoting it big ,so it is cool ,an advertisment every over in world cup, optimus 1 yoooooooooo,india will be flooded with it

        come on karishma x8 is like goin to stone age with 1.6 it is really sloe ,lazy,small screen ,i used for a week but wasnt satisfied,use to hang a lot buddy ,stick to the latest one ,the optimus ,trust me yaar ,u wont b disappointed buddy

            hey karishma go for optimus take my word u will love it froyo is anytime better ,galaxy is very much boyish optimus is cool ,updated ,so dont be confused , go for optimus ,i had used galaxy 3 but i wasnt as good as optimus ,cu ,let me know which one u went for,bye

                    HI Users,
                    I'm working on custom ROM developing it for MAX performance and removing unwanted apps.
                    Will let know once done.

                    Process:
                    •Download Z4Root app from here or Android Market.
                    •Transfer it to you Optimus One and install it
                    •Run the app and select permanent root

                    Custom recovery

                    To install custom recovery
                    First install root to phone and terminal emulater or SDK kit for ADB shell
                    Now, once you’re up and running with a rooted phone and installed the Android SDK, you’ll need to download the recovery files. Here are the recovery files
                    Thunderg Recovery
                    flash_image

                    Now to use this Custom Recovery, copy these two files and paste in the root of your SD card
                    Goto termial and type adb shell
                    Type Su to root access
                    Allow permissions for super user
                    1.mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system
                    2.cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image
                    3.chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
                    4.mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak (if it gives error message here, simply proceed to the next step)
                    5.mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system
                    6.flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img
                    7.reboot recovery
                    8.The phone will reboot now.
                    9.To access the Custom Recovery, turn off the phone and then press Home+Vol Down+Power button to boot into the Custom Recovery

                    TO install custom ROM
                    1. Install a ROOT
                    2. Install a custom recovery
                    3. Partition SD-Card

                    Because this ROM uses Apps2sd you need an ext3 partition on your sd-card.


                    •Make backup of sd-card
                    •boot into recovery (HOME+VolumeDown+Power)
                    •select "Partition sdcard"
                    •select "Partition SD" and confirm with menu
                    •set swapsize to 0 with volume-down (no Swap-Partition) confirm with menu
                    •create EXT-Partition with 512MB (confirm with menu)
                    •after partitioning select "SD:ext2 to ext3" and convert ext2 to ext3
                    •restore backup of your sd-card
                    4. Wipe

                    PLEASE take a backup of all apps and SD CARD on system.
                    ALSO NANDROID BACKUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                    Choose the ROMS from XDA developer,Clso to Stock is VOID ROM eg

                    INstall overcloking kernel if just OC is needed.

                    After inatlling Any custom rom use signed thunderg oc for new kernel to overclock .
                    Process :just flash the zip file.

                        In my optimus mobile,I tried using internet with airtel network and it works perfectly fine with the applications and the browser.But when i changed my network to reliance now,Im not able to browse with my default browser but all the applications like GTalk and Gmail and other applications which require internet works fine but only issue is im not able to browse in my broswer even tried typing some url in the Skyfire browser still did not work.What ever url i type "Page cannot be displayed Error appears".I tried calling the Customer care but thay could not help with this issue(They asked me to set wap.rworld.com as home page but no use).Plase help me to solve the issue!!!!!!!

                                only issue in this ,the dust problem ,dust gets inside the glass ,it happened to my device but i went to lg centre nehru place they issued me a new one instantly ,great service lg ,go for this beauty now

                                        Am not able to send mp3 files via bluetooth, but am able to send image files. when i connect to a another mob via bluetooth it says sending but its stuck @ 0% and disconnects after few mins. any idea y it happens ??
