I just saw the red one at IOI Mall (Malaysia). Not the wine red but a bright red. I guess they release this version for Chinese New Year haha.

Very bitter experience with service of LG.
My phone developed snag next day of purchase, service center assured me replacement with in 2 days even after 5 days they are unable to deliver but asking for two more days..
Very frustrating indeed.....

I have downloaded and installed need.for speed shift. It runs smoothly, without any lags. but i can not move tothe sdcard. anybody please help. I have installed app2sd but even it doesn't show move to sd card option. please tel me the way as it is taking 40mb of my precious phone memory. Thank you

Guys i have purchased O1 about a fortnight back :P
just about 5 min back while cleaning its screen i accidently removed the screen protector that came with the phone by LG :(
although i placed it back , but its all messed up , too many bubbles and crap.
what should i do .
i hate to look at my new phone in such a state.
i know screen protector is important , what should i do . Are screen protectors available at LG service centres in delhi ?
If not then which brand has the best feel .

I own LG P500 Set. Its awesome one. Enjoying it. Currently I have 2GB Memory Card, Looking to change it to 8GB or 16GB. Can you provide your insights, which is better and what is the cost of 16GB Card with Class 8 or 10? Is it available in Chennai? I have checked whole Ritchie Street they have 8GB card with Class 2. Provide some pointers to buy 16GB or 8GB with CLass 8 or 10

You are reinstalling ie FLASHING CUSTOM OS ,ROMS it means you gonna wipe complete and install all.

best advice is you should know some basic Kernel basic so can try even if phone bricks!!!BECOMES INTO NOTHING !!!!!!
For installing custom ROMS gott XDA developers and register yourself and fine FOR any of these ROMS for P500
1)VOID
2)DROIEKA
3)PRIME
4)MEGATRON
5)AMBER HOME
this give all pre requiste to install before flasing and guide to it.
any doubts ask me later,but try first.
My favourite is AMBER HOME and installed later OC kernel which makes more stable and allows me to clock.
DONOT SET ON BOOT ONCE CLOCKED AS IT MIGHT LOOP ON RESTART.EVEN THAT CAN BE FIXED

I'm a vodafone user from mumbai. I was about to buy this fone but someone who hs this fone told me that the normal gprs scheme (which is rs 100 pm and 2gb download free) does not work on the fone... The only data plan that works is mobile connect which is rs 500 pm and only 500 mb free download.
Is this true?!
Mumbai users - Please help I need to buy a fone soon.... Or else suggest a good service provider to shift to....

Disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Mobile networks ->
Enable "Use only 2G networks"
Disable "Data enabled"
