Long press on any icon on homescreen, a bin will appear at the bottom center of the screen. Just drag and drop the icon into the bin.
For bringing an icon at the home screen, go to the app drawer(the screen where all the apps are located), long press any icon, it will then appear on the home screen.

Make sure that the 'mass storage only' option in settings is unchecked. If this also doesn't work, then check the USB debugging mode in settings->applications->development.

..How can i get back to the default quick launch bar provided by LG.i placed some other app on the dialer icon n now i can't figure out to get back to dialer icon...please help me!!

The phone already comes with flash 10.1. The optimus one has an ARM v6 processor which does not support the flash instruction set and versions like flashlite. But you can use the browser 'skyfire' to play flash games and watch videos. To watch videos with the .flv extension you can use the app 'rockplayer'.

Some apps lack the capability of being stored in the sd card as they are not 'froyo' oriented. But as the apps are getting regularly updated, more and more apps are getting 'froyo' orineted. Almost all the apps which cannot be run from the sd card have there alternatives which can be stored and run from the sd. You can download the app 'app2sd' which will notify you of any app that you install which can be transferred to the sd card.

Android doesn't have send contact through sms feature but you can download an app 'Share Contact via SMS','handcent' SMS(it has option called contacts).
For sending music files via bluetooth, use an alternative file manager like 'astro'. Once installed, open 'astro'->long press on the music file->send->bluetooth. For sending photos and videos use the 'gallery' application. It has an option called 'share'.

Anyone plz help me............. how can we mark and send the music files?????? i am reciving all the datas via bluetooth but wen i am trying to send the files it shows sending failed..... sometimes system gives the reason as THE REMOT BLUETOOTH DEVICE REJECTED THE REQUEST/SENDING FAILED
what may be the cause for these all????

Heyy guy's... I bought this phone abt a week bck, i have to admit, one of d best phone's ive ever used. My only complaint being, im not able to access Facebook thru this phone....:(:( Every other site opens, except Facebook. HELP!!!!!!!!

ROHIT, 25 Jan 2011who is better in internet both mobile and pc from Galaxy 3 ... morei am not sure abt LG, but pls do not go for galaxy I5801. I bought one. within 3 mnths i started getting problems (call drop) samsung does not have a solution for that.
