Hi All, I like my new Op 1, the problem is it shuts down on its own aft certain hrs not touching the ph, I mean totally s/d, power off, need to press the on/off button to restart the ph, it is not the screen turn off, its actually s/d, power off,dead, I don't know why, anyone had this problem & solution ?

Also, its a good idea to do a hard reset before that and get rid of the littered apk files on the SD card (after backing up).

this wont get a gingerbread update :(
bcoz lg is launching a same device lg optimus p350 in d same price wid gingerbread..
so noo chance for any update on this device..
they already said this but to keep optimus one ahead of all competitors dey said that they will provide an update..
the are doing the same thing samsung galaxy n sony xperia series are doing..
instead of any update on current fone..
they r providing new device with latest os..
this is very bad :(

Pls help me!!!, My PC not detecting my Optimus one, i have installed this version of USB driver LGUnitedMobileDriver_S498MA22_WHQL_ML_Ver_2.2.exe, am alos doing other things like not turning on storage, but still its not able to detect mine. Please let mw know the steps or the versions..

I bought this phone after looking into many reviews and was satisfactory only for 2 weeks..when i make a call a black screen appears and it takes more time to load the UI..i dont know why the hanging problem arises many times..i updated the firmware too but i dont know the problem is with firmware updation or not..if so how to overcome this problem..thanks in advance..

Prateek Gupta, 20 Jan 2011Hi, Make sure that your wi-fi router/dsl/modem is not lock... morenot keeping wpa/wpa2 security enabled is a bad advice! P500 is fully capable of handling secure wifi connections and NO one should use unsecured set up at home to get connected to wifi. Unsecured wifi router is same as keeping your house door open while you take vacation!

have you tried upgrading the firmware of your phone? what are the changes that took effect? Also, does this phone have the option to saves apps in SD or the app2sd?
