I think most of the guys dont know that android can install mozilla firefox 4.0 for mobiles.Its working perfectly on arm7.0 cpu 1Gz and on test mode on arm6.0 like this optimus.So the provided a test version for it.But flash is still on working on firefox for mobiles.

You can store downloaded apk files in mem card using Super Manager app. install Super Manager from market.
Once you launch Super manager, tap on "APK Manager" press hard menu button, tap on "Backup and Restore" option, Select "APKs to Card(Friendly)" and tap on "OK", all your downloaded APKs will be stored in your mem card.
Launch OI File Manager navigate to "SuperTaskManager" folder,tap on "MyAPKs" folder,you will see the folder containing your APKs..

have seen some trying rooting on optimus issues:
always say carefull!!!!!!!!!!
make sure you know what your doing and why,it's recomended only if you have some knowledge in modifying system root files,setting to gain control and flash back the image copy if you have bricked the phone.
no offense on anyone\users.
and to naveen i believe on blog who had rooted with z4root app.
have you taken any nandroid backup before doing it

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2011what u mean???u have to call aircel customer care to activa... moreno nothing of that sort.....just sms toll free to 121 type "PI".......in my case aircel are quote efficient......much better than my previous operators idea and vodafone...

Mukul, 12 Jan 2011@ Pratik Gupta Hi Man today I called LG custumer care and... morewhat u mean???u have to call aircel customer care to activate gprs(itz not pocket internet activation which is defualtly activated) and get your gprs settings.tell them you are using an anderoid based smartphone.i was using aircel.

Anyway try airtel.....they have a good image....

After i read thru some stupid blog post that said rooting the phone would make it free from the restrictions, i rooted my phone using z4root and installed titanium back up to remove the useless system apps like bollywoodji, again according to the same blog post. But what it eventually did was make my phone vulnerable to giving the administrative controls of my phone to that 3rd party software which destroyed the usb port drivers on my phone and did a factory reset. Now im unable to connect my phone to the pc even in usb mode, it only charges. So my sincere advise to al those reading this is, NEVER ROOT UR PHONE AND GIVE SUPERUSER RIGHTS TO 3rd PARTY APPS.

Bought it last week. Great phone to use.
Not so difficult to use as this is my first smartphone.
The only problem which i am facing is battery backup.
I have to charge it daily :(
if anyone can go with this problem then this phone has no competitor in market.
camera quality is also good.

bt 1 thing , android is not 4 evry1..
1million in 45days is really awesum..
if this is sm1's 1st smartfone then this wud definitely trouble..
even the meago in n900 wz unsuccessful bcoz common ppl can't use dat device..
n reviews cleary stated that..
bt now nokia vl b back soon..
d company is working badly on meago bcoz nokia vl never bring android n windows devices :)
n wat about the battery problem of so many people wid optimus one :)

today I called LG custumer care and they told me only one thing that you can not access Mart with Aircel as they dont have Advance GPRS settings .
Tell me some way arround as DOCOMO 3G is costly.:)
