i have a question..
in the notification bar, what does the "E" symbol stand for? you know, the little E with two arrows beneath it, one pointing upwards and the other pointing downwards. i was thinking it signifies "data exchange". am i right? and what triggers this symbol?

Angry birds & Slice it runs very smooth
on optimus one. In my opinion there are very few apps
That don't work on optimus one.

"at all the optimus guys who cursed the galaxy 3 saying that it has greater game support with graphics. HERE IS LIST OF GAMES WHICH RUNS VERY WELL ON GALAXY 3 BUT NOT AT ALL ON OPTIMUS 1.angry bird 2.slice it(too lagey for optimus) 3.shoot em up. 4.zynga poker (won't gets log in tried many times on OPTIMUS) there are many more as my friend say won't run on his optimus but i haven't personally tested them "

I baught the phone on Sunday.
Its awsome "No complains at all" till now
Can I download the apps(Games) directly from Laptop and the put the file for instalation on sd card.
With EP 630 base is good but not awsome

What you want to do is known as 'reverse tethering' and it's not possible on android unless the phone is rooted(rooting is not safe as it may brick your phone). You can share your phone's internet to the pc, but not the other way around.
You can connect to the internet by getting a wireless router and do it via wifi.
If you have a wifi card in your computer you can actually turn your computer into a wifi hotspot, provided it is also connected to the internet. But you need windows 7 for that(an application called 'connectify' does that). It can also be done with windows phone. Unfortunately it's a Windows Phone only feature.
You can use your computer to set up a ad hoc network that your phone will connect to. However android doesn't support adhoc so you'll need to have a rooted phone.
There is an App you might try called 'PDANet'. Search the web for it.
