Thanks for the update on the battery usuage. Its very much needed to know and that is one of the criteria for me in buying a phone. HOwever I would appreciate if you could let me know the time(duration) for one full life cycle? from 100 % to probably 2-3 %? Coz at times these values (75 % or 60 % or whatever) can be misleading.... example - my office laptop goes from 60% to 30% in less than 15 min!! :P :)

Hi.
I m here to share my battery usage.
Charged for 100 Percent today morning.
Heard 15 songs till now in headphone.
Took 2 shots
Played angry birds for less than two hours.
Sent/Received 100 SMSs
Made/Got phone call for half hour
Battery level now is 75 percent which is amazing

The sale started and the first 10 in line were let in the LG store to buy their units. 30 minutes later, only the first 10 were able to buy units. The LG people, sensing the restlessness of the people waiting to buy the phone, added more personnel in an effort to accommodate more buyers.
At 3pm, the emcee announced that the sale was over and was immediately met by loud “boos” and negative comments from almost everybody who waited. I have never heard of an event that has been “booed” so loud and so long. The commotion lasted for more than an hour and the LG people were obviously feeling the tension. Had it not been for the mall security guards, a riot could’ve easily broken out.
I thought that the Nokia sale was bad, LG’s was an EPIC FAILURE! From what we observed, in spite of the assurances and lists that they gave out, LG only sold around 20 to 30 units during the 1-hour sale. Internet forums report that it was the same in all their other venues.
When asked during a dialogue with disgruntled sale-goers later, LG representative said that “in terms of awareness raised, the promo was a success.” During the same dialogue, another LG representative said that they “did not focus on how many units they expected to sell.” From these statements, it is clear that LG only wanted to raise awareness and did not intend to sell the Optimus One at 50% discount to more than 30 people per venue.
Aside from the short statement from Nokia’s Corporate Communications Manager published in the Internet, nothing was heard from them even after they collected the contact information of all those who were turned away.
LG, on the other hand, sent a letter from LG Mobile Vice President Mr. Andrew Song, expressing their “sincerest gratitude” for coming to the sale. They explained that the “promo’s main objective is for every Filipino consumer to have a glimpse and experience the latest mobile technology at an affordable price.”
They further explained that “due to time considerations as well as guidelines provided and approved by DTI, we could not meet all your expectations.”
As part of showing their “appreciation and benefit to those consumers who were present during the said event”, LG is offering a P2000 discount on the Optimus One on November 25 to 27, 2010.
The winner: Who cares? Everybody lost here.

Initially i was unable to connect the fone with Vodafone GPRS, though the Wifi network worked fine.
If u r facing a similar prob, then just enable the Airplane mode on Wireless & networks>Airplane mode and then disable it again. Voila! The GPRS starts working!!
