i have used LG phone before , notr once but twice and both times quality is not good, worse, service of LG philippines SUCKS! will wait for samsung answer to this phone which i believe is very soon after all what LG have samsung will produce also and vise versa.

lg just sold 1 million units. it could be more if they have sold to all the people who lined up for the so-called 50% promo which turned out to be a farce. and to those defending LG who either were able to got the cellphone or are working for LG, hope what happen to those lining up and suffered will happen to you too. LG should at least apologize. they never mentioned that only 50units will be sold. they should have accommodate those that were still in the line at 3pm and not those that lined up at 3:01. the promo simply shows LG lack the the experience to stage such event. again,to those defending lg how come nokia which was also selling their c6 at 60% off for two hours at same malls,there were no complaint eventhough there were also many people who lined up. the people lining were well behaved and there were no pushing and shouting.

Don't buy this phone.
Wait 6 months until the price goes down when other phones at a lower price will make it OBSOLETE.
Do you think Samsung and all the others are not watching this brouhaha?
The competition can't be far behind.

What LG did is a good buy. Marketing was ok. It was just how they organized the event that sucked. There mistake is that they told people that everyone will get to buy one. If they didn't mention it then people will stick with the idea that the promo ends at 3pm

Anybody who seriously thought that lg would launch a new fone and sell ALL the units at 50% off is an idiot. Ofcourse there would have been some kind of limit. But this is still the best android deal by far. All the other competitors in the same price range have a critical weakness like low res screen, smaller display, older version android or no autofocus on the camera. Even at normal price, this is a great package.
