Folks i got few questions? One, is this available in india, chennai? Second i've went thru the specifications and stats and it seems pretty decent for a entry level android phone but i need this as a secondary phone so plz help me decide on three choices, lg optimus one, samsung galaxy apollo, htc wildfire! So plz let me know which would a gud choice of the three? Thanz in advance mates!

Today a lot of shops in europe started listing it and some shops show it as already stocked. So rather oktober than december.

I've been waiting months for this phone, and I don't think I can wait anymore. One minute its supposed to be out in October, November, now it's December. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out next year!

Hi! I just want to know please if MP3s can be added as ringtones and can you make ringtones ring longer than a few seconds? Are ringtones loud enough that it can be heard in a noisy crowd?

I thought this phone was coming out in the UK in October this month according to what LG UK blog says, T-Mobile also states it's coming out this month, and Carphone Warehouse UK says November...now we have to wait until December/January??

That's a long wait :(
I find this phone similar to the GT540, but with a slightly larger, capacitive with multi-touch screen and froyo!
Given the similar specs, can we expect froyo on the GT540?

I want to tell you that this phone has loud sound without any disturb or distortion & very clear as well.
For the Video, nice video quality with Divx playback possibility.
As i told you this phone is LG's Precious Stone Among all Smart Phone brands in its category.
