mean, 06 Mar 2012its a good phone with good camera, good sounds, fast net sp... moreK guys u can update the os to 2.3.7 by rooting ur phone and dwnload the cynamod final rom of 2.3.7 from xda-developers site and follow the instructions to do it and one more thing the new ics 4.0 rom is also but in that rom everything is fine xcept that camera doesnt work

From where did you know that lg optimus one p500 will receive official update to android 4.0.3 ice cream. give us a link to verify.

Its just a superb phone.....and a happy news for optimus one p500 users,lg had included this phone to Icecream Sandwich update i.e,Android-4.0.It will be launching on the month of september.....

kishore, 25 Feb 2012Compare both models on this site and then decide.its a good phone with good camera, good sounds, fast net speed.just sometimes lag n i've got black screen appear in my phone! but rest of all its great!! i've upgrade my phone to 2.3.3 but i want to root it till 2.3.7! anybody know how to do it?

Phone is Very good. Problem is internal memory & no flash. Battery back up is very less, i tried so many applications for battery backup (Juice defender/battrery doctor etc.) After full charging battery drains one day. only using for Calls & Internet. Please suggest how to increase battery back up & and i upgraded the OS to 2.3.3. Can i upgrade it to 2.3.5 or current running versions in my Mobile.
