Have had this phone since mid 2011 and still going strong. Long in the tooth in some ways, but overall quite a solid, quality phone. Good battery life, easy to work around the small internal memory (Link2SD), and does everything I need it to do. Big radio fan; love that this thing has an FM radio tuner so I don't need to waste precious b/w on streaming.
Great community dev support, too. (Kitkat! Though still needs work.) I strongly recommend the Gingerbread Oxygen Rom for stability/good battery life and the Holo launcher for a JB-style layout.

bought this phone in aug-sep, 2011, for 10k, this phone is now very outdated, maybe discontinued, but this is a tough phone, I have dropped it so many times I don't even remember, it has been crushed beneath the leg of a chair with a person sitting on it, this caused a very little damage to the back cover, didn't affected the performance, and it dropped once from my pocket while I was driving (no damage!!), it has been practically thrown, though not with intention, this phone is rock solid... it has a low RAM that is why it hangs so much after few months of usage, with time its performance decreases and it hangs a lot, has a very less internal memory, but it has all the features of a good smartphone, battery life is also good, overall it was a good phone, if not awesome.

This is indeed one of the best model of LG.
December 2011-June 2014 Still working great!
Dropped a few times, but still great! Long battery life. Although compared to latest models, this has smaller RAM and screen.
Because of this, I am now a supporter of LG products. Quality assurance is good. Now, I have recently bought another LG phone. Still expecting high quality! ;-)

Using this since Feb 2011...Rocking Kitkat for 5-6months...Just had to change the charger twice no problem apart from that...Looking forward to my next LG phone :)

My three years old O1 never drop internet signal and you can store most of the apps on SD card and if your phone is rooted you can store almost 90% of the apps in SD card.

Don't know why people keep saying it cant move stuff to the micro sd card. I could move most apps to the micro sd card and videos and pictures were automatically stored in the micro sd card

piece of crap,keeps dropping internet signal needing to restart it to get it going again,keeps running out of storage and can't move anything to sd card,again needing restart to clear storage..waste of money,will never get another
